That was an awesome article! Love that she's so open to film, tv, or plays, and it's SO true what she said about people having preconceived notions about her. She really shouldn't read that bull****.

And her answer to the "when do you feel the most beautiful," is how everyone should answer that question. No makeup, comfy clothes, just...so normal.

She seems SO HAPPY, too.

And the photoshoot is GORGEOUS. The close up of FRECKLES!

Mischa Barton's topless snapper hits back

Celebrity photographer Jamie Fawcett has hit back at claims he harassed a topless Mischa Barton during her Australian holiday, claiming the controversy was "like Nicole Kidman all over again".

Fawcett admits taking topless pictures of Barton, but denies he did anything unethical and says he even warned the Hollywood starlet not to appear nude in public.

Newspaper reports claimed Fawcett jumped out of a bush on Hamilton Island and tried to snap Barton both inside her private hotel room and at the airport Qantas Club.

"He's a ridiculous human being … I've never abhorred anyone more," the Sydney Morning Herald reported Barton as saying.

However, the Sydney-based paparazzo paints a different picture.

"It's complete rubbish," Fawcett told ninemsn.

"Look at who ran the story. Look at the history I have with them.

"It's like Nicole Kidman all over again."

Fawcett, who recently sued the Herald's publisher Fairfax for defamation, says it's not his fault the former star of The O.C. was snapped in such a position.

"She was sunbaking topless on a balcony in full view of everybody," Fawcett says.

"I was coming back in the boat around the Whitsunday Passage … where hundreds of boats go through every day.

"She was in broad public view on the balcony of the beach house.

"There was no trespassing, nothing like that.

"Why wouldn't you take those photographs? As a photo journalist, you have to."

It appears that Barton had also gone topless earlier on nearby Henning Island, and feared Fawcett had taken pictures.

According to Fawcett, she approached him and asked if he had he snapped any topless pictures.

Fawcett says he told her he hadn't, and showed her his pictures to prove it. "I then said 'Look love, this is a public park, this is not private place'."

Fawcett says it was after this confrontation that Barton again went topless in full public view.

The pair were then involved in a heated confrontation at the Hamilton Island airport, where they were booked on the same flight.

"I actually went up to get my bags, [and] she said 'How could you do this to me? Can't you get a job, can't you be a real photographer?'

"I didn't respond, I just walked away.

"She was pissed."

Despite the controversy, Fawcett was unrepentant over the revealing pictures, which sold for tens of thousands of dollars.

"As far as I'm concerned, she has a valid point on one level.

"But on another level, if she doesn’t want your picture taken, change your profession.

"People don't take pictures of butchers."
