Mischa has a whopping SEVEN movies in the works: Virgin Territory, Closing the Ring, Don't Fade Away, St. Trinians, Finding t.A.T.u, Malice in Sunderland, and we're all REALLY excited about the latest one she's signed up for, The Sophomore, which includes Bruce Willis in its cast! Highlights

Virgin Territory is scheduled for a wide release September 21st, 2007.

According to Mischa (thanks to Amy for asking her), Closing The Ring is expected to be released in the fall.

Mischa recently wrapped her role in St. Trinians and is currently in Russia filming Finding t.A.T.u. See a clip from a news segment about the movie here:

As soon as she's done with that, she will return to L.A to begin filming The Sophomore. She's set to film Malice in Sunderland sometime in the fall.

I'm sure some OC fans would be pissed. But those fans claim she had nothing to do with its demise anyway.

This is about Mischa. I don't think Mischa fans would be pissed, because they want what's the best for her. They like seeing her successful with or without the show and I think that's the point of the article.

All I'm saying is that practically every Australian publication uses the word "quit" it has had no detrimental effect to her standing here. Could a small amount of people be offended? Sure. But then I'm sure there are a small amount of people that stopped watching The OC before she left and are glad to see her moving on.

These articles aren't designed to make her seem like a monster. My opinion is that they will structure something in a way that the editors believe the readers will respond well to.

No, a Mischa fan would want her to be represented in the correct way. Mischa would want to be represented in the correct way. And I doubt she would love that it says she quit the show.

At the end of the day, she did NOT quit, and has been quite clear that she did not quit, and that she's upset at the idea that she did, because she wants fans to know that she would have been happy to do another season. I think THAT'S what should count. It's not appropriate for a magazine like Marie Claire to outright claim she quit when she didn't.

Word to this. The article meant no harm and by no means is it harmful lol. Fired vs. quit is a dead issue - it bares no significance anymore.

I guess the only reason I'm defending the article is because MC have been extremely supportive of Mischa - this is her third time on the cover. Mistakes happen, as long they aren't slamming her then I'm pretty much good with whatever they write.

I also stumlbed on this tidbit, I don't think we've heard about "Nite" before? Likely really old news but its still amazing to see how many movies Mischa is "attached" to lol.

She looks gorgeous at the train station! And you can tell working in Russia was a huge part of the draw of this movie for her.
