Georgia is crazzzzyyyyyy. Looks like both Senate seats (previously held by GOP) are headed for run-off elections.

So in the state of Georgia, if neither Senate candidate gets 50% of the vote (in the case of one of the elections, there was a second GOP candidate because the current occupant was appointed instead of elected, and in the second case, justtttttt enough people voted third party to sink Perdue under 50%), it goes into a run-off election with the two candidates who have the most votes.

Fun fact: Raphael Warnock, the Dem candidate in one of the races, went to the same seminary I got my first master's degree from. Meaning he is SUPER liberal, lol, because we don't make 'em any other way at Union.

I've never lived in a state that does run-off elections. Well, and my senator who was up this year won by like 20 points, lol (he's a Dem, so it's all good). So that wasn't exactly a nailbiter.
