I'm still mad Imageshack basically died, lol. So much of my art was there. I had a bajillion Mischa banners.

And the laptop I made those on is longgggggg dead. Sigh. I wish I'd switched to Macs sooner, lol, they don't die nearly as easily and I can always get stuff off the drive.

That computer DIED, man. Like, it almost literally caught on fire.

It was a Dell. Those laptops used to overheart hella easily. I remember I put it on my lap and it actually burned my leg.

Dell laptops still have a tendency to overheat - my work laptop is prone to it - but not like those old ones, that was just nuts.

My mom used to work for them, so I got significant discounts on them. And I have no say in what my work laptop is, lol. But I will not be getting a personal Dell again, needless to say. I only need to be literally burned once, heh.

LOL, I just plugged in my work laptop to charge after I signed off for the day and I can hear it starting to overheat. This does not happen to my Mac, is all I'm saying.

My HP's have been good, lol

I had an HP and it did last awhile. Not as long as the Macs, but awhile. And it didn't nearly set my bed on fire, so, a win. LOL.

My work laptop is actually tiny and cute, but I still hear that drive heating when I plug it in.

Definitely don't want to buy a Dell, lol

My worktop at my last agency was a Dell too; I think most U.S. government-issued laptops are Dell. Michael Dell is making a killing off this pandemic from all the agencies that had to scramble to get their employees remote laptops.

And yet he laid people off to keep the $$$$$. I'm saying, big business is evil.
