As a child of an abusive father, I almost can't even voice how offensive I find that. If ONLY my father had chosen to peace out instead of what he did. IF ONLY. (don't get me wrong, abandoning your child is bad - beating the **** out of them is worse)

Mark was weird about parenting. Peyton's father definitely got to a point where he probably needed to be charged with neglect, lol, but it wasn't really acknowledged? But only Dan was overtly abusive, and after S1 it was mostly aimed at Lucas.
