Some writers don't get that

You don't necessarily see it as often with female show writers, I've noticed. Like, on Gilmore Girls, Rory and Lane never fought, and Rory and Paris never had a serious fight over a guy- hence this infamous scene:

Yes. At least none of the dumb triangles involved Marissa AND Summer. Also, Marissa didn't get catty with Ryan's other girls. She liked Theresa.
