JJ French (St. Trinians) #1: Mischa in a movie about ungovernable girls? Awesome!
St. Trinian's (2007)  Remake of 1950s comedies. The first film chronicling the unruly adventures at the "school for young ladies" was made in 1954 and starred Alastair Sim and Joyce Grenfell. The Announcement: BBC NEWS | Entertainment | Barton joins St Trinian's movie Barton joins St Trinian's movie Actress and model Mischa Barton has signed up for a role in the new St Trinian's film. The 21-year-old, who starred in US teen drama The OC, will be playing the character JJ French. Cameras are already rolling on the new version of the 1950s comedies, which stars Rupert Everett in the dual role of the headmistress and her brother. The Ealing Studios project has also attracted celebrities like comedian Russell Brand and model Lily Cole. Bridget Jones's Diary actor Colin Firth stars as an MP who has plans to turn St Trinian's into a respectable institution. Scenes have already been filmed in Trafalgar Square and in various other locations around London. Ealing Studios produced some of Britain's best-loved comedies of the 1940s and 1950s, including Whisky Galore and The Ladykillers. The first St Trinian's film - the Belles of St Trinian's - was made in 1954 and starred Alastair Sim as the headmistress, alongside Joyce Grenfell and George Cole.  The Synopsis St Trinian's, a school for "young ladies" with its anarchic doctrine of free expression, brings together a motley crew of ungovernable girls who, using their wit and ingenuity, save the school from bankruptcy. Although when I was searching for stuff about the movie a few days ago, I read that it already has a distribution deal so the scheduled date might just remain in tact. Probably wishful thinking on my part though, lol. __________________

Heee! Awesome. The radio stations here are also buzzing about it. They were talking about how Mischa signed onto the movie, and how it's kinda random. Since, she's like the most well known out of the entire cast. And they were wondering why she'd even sign up to it..and how strnage it is to have a cast with Mischa and then loads of other British nobodies, LOL.
It's pretty cool. So she's filming that now, and then Malice in October. And she may do a play in the West End afterwards, she might aswell move permanently to London! |

Well, Rupert and Colin are both very well known and respected even over here; I can definitely see her eager to do a movie where she'd be able work with Rupert.

They were talking about some other English actors that are also signed up for the movie. And well, they're well, I don't know what to say. But bascially nobodies, and the public don't really like them. So, they were just comparing Mischa to them and how "weird" it is for them to all be in the samw movie.
But Russel Brand is in it, wasn't there an artiicle where Mischa said he was good looking or something? Soomething about him anyways, I can't wait to see what he has to say about her! |
