I know! I do too. I miss seeing her every week. I love the fact that she is doing movies but they take so long to come out.

I just want her to be on a show again. To show everyone that she's not just the girl from the OC. I hate the negative stuff people say about her.

That's exactly it. Movies take way too long to come out and all the negative stuff from The OC has just transferred cause people havent had a chance to see her in anything else.

I still don't even understand why Marissa was such an annoying character to some people. The whole point of watching TV is heightened reality, imo. And you dont get much more heightened than Marissa. Otherwise, you might as well just go watch some home videos if you're after real life.

And how on Earth can a show survive filled only with characters as carefree as Seth and Summer. Might as well watch Sesame Street. I understand the need for balance but Id personally much rather a show filled with Marissas.

I swear Summer was just IMO waste. I mean she was great in early s1 when there wasn't a lot of her but then s2 she had no problems other than 2 dates for the prom. That was so unreal. Marissa had real problems.

I always felt like Summer character was painted as shallow in S1 and her getting in to Brown was so unrealistic and Marissa was the main character not her.
Marissa suffered ALOT during those 3 seasons daddy steal,parent divorce ,Boyfriend cheat,close suicide try,Oliver happen,Threesa shows up and Ryan act like a jerk,mommy sleep with cheating ex_BF,Boyfriend leave for his childhood PG GF and that is only S1 .

Her getting into Brown

That was just so out there and made no sense at all. Marissa went through hell and back and she didn't get a happy ending at all. S3 was so boring Mischa was the only reason I even watched it.
