I don't think he can handle being such an outcast in NYC. He's never been liked, but he was always able to sort of ignore it. He couldn't go ANYWHERE in NYC without people telling him how much they hate him.

Sometimes I take a step back and remember this is the man my 8 year old self actually BOOED when I saw him in Home Alone 2 because that's how nationally well known what an epic creep he was, and I do not understand how this happened.
