For some reason, TWoP has decided that the only person that sucks more than Meredith is Derek. I'm grateful. It makes me feel better that Meredith doesn't have the blame heaped on her like Marissa did on the boards. Over the top one sided writing and I love all who see through it, lol.

Aaaaand Jess is back. It was nice while it lasted! LOL.

I for the first time in history actually kinda agree with Jess.

I don't think Derek is wrong for not wanting to be with her if she's only interested in a random/casual relationship. But I also think that the whole reason she's like this is because of issues that he's seen and has actively been part of first hand. He's been a person that's abandoned her so she's trying to protect herself.

I don't know how long Derek should stick with her because I don't think you can help someone who doesn't want help, but that said he certainly hasn't tried hard enough. As soon as she pulls away he lets her, that's not how she's going to change. I don't feel that he's put any substantial effort in.

Yeah, I agree with Sam. I also think that if Meredith needs help, she needs to get it. Shonda, let her go to therapy. But continuing this cycle where she just stays in one place is BORING.

Sources confirm to me that Lauren Stamile is most definitely a new love interest for Derek/Patrick Dempsey, and she'll be sticking around for a while. I'm told she's pretty much the anti-Meredith (all the way around—looks and personality) and will make Derek somewhat conflicted.

I'm so over Derek, and the way Meredith has to be written whenever there's anything involving him. But noooo. We know what this story is about. We've seen it before.
