That, too. It makes the guys look fickle, heartless, and just very insincere. I don't believe that you can fall in love, the same way, more than once. I don't believe in "falling out of love." I really don't. I don't think you truly loved the person to begin with.

But naturally, it has to be set up so it's all the other dark and twisty woman's fault. Whatever. Just give it a rest already. You win, Shonda. Put Derek with his bright and shiny new plaything. Just leave Meredith alone. She won't, Meredith will need to be punished with this (ala Theresa, Lindsay, Sadie, etc), but I really wish she would.

I wish Shonda wouldn't drag it out, personally. I had enough with Marissa. If MerDer don't work, let Meredith, as a character, move on and find someone better. Then Derek can have his fun time, who cares.

*cough*Alex*cough* LOL. Seriously. Ava's kinda boring and Izzie's a dang psycho. Alex doesn't have better prospects. Justin Chambers isn't the victim of Shonda's stalkerish obsession. Meredith might have a shot at being an actual character and not just a sacrificial lamb there.

Then again, it could be the same thing as with Marissa- oops! Marissa/Alex and Marissa/Volchok got more attention and buzz than Ryan's shiny new pairings. Despite all Josh's best efforts.

Alex is good, though. Why is Ava/R even coming back? Did they have a huge fanbase? So weird.

You don't want to know what happened tonight. I didn't even want the description of it, lol. Put it this way: TWoP, generally on Meredith's side, has EXPLODED with Derek hate. Virtually every post in the episode thread is "I HATE DEREK DEREK NEEDS TO DIE".

But what brought THIS on was

They're on crack over there. They blame Derek for everything because Shonda favors him. That's IT.
