IMDB is now listing the US title as Malice in Wonderland.

Which I think is a much better - more universal - title.

Howay! It’s Mackem Barton

IT WILL be a bit of a far cry from the sun-kissed beaches of California and the OC.
But Mischa Barton – hottie Marissa Cooper in smash teen drama the OC – has signed up to shoot a film in SUNDERLAND.
The glamorous actress will star in Malice In Sunderland, which begins shooting next April.
It is based on the work of Lewis Carroll and features a visiting US film student who is struck by a car, waking up in a weird and wonderful version of the gritty north east city.
The Sunderland of the film is filled with dark and surreal characters.
Barton’s latest work has included a part in the Brit-comedy St Trinian’s.
There were initial rumours that Kelly Osbourne was set for the lead role in Alice In Sunderland.

Its amazing that someone so young is so dedicated to their craft. Mischa really is remarkable.

This is filming all the way in April. What's the bet she does either a theatre production or another movie role between January and April lol!

And she's been going at it like this for YEARS. She filmed: Skipped Parts, Frankie and Hazel, Lost and Delirious, The Sixth Sense, Notting Hill, Paranoid, Tart, Julie Johnson, Octane, and did Once and Again in what? Three years or so? And then had The OC, and has been working pretty much nonstop since she and Josh...erm, parted ways, lol.
