He was actually a solid actor until he started spiraling around S2 of SoA. He was soooo effectively creepy on Criminal Minds (again, disturbing now, heh).

It was weird, because Ryan had been in several movies, but he was not comfortable with TV. He frequently missed his marks, and sometimes visibly startled Mischa when he did it.

Funny, creepy isn't a good word to defend a quality actor. I don't see where weird and creepy comes from. Unless on screen they are perfect.
