I think that is exactly it - they always play the same artists, never giving other artists or older artists a chance. Just whatever is current gets played over & over. Right now that's people like the 1D members & Taylor as you said. Nothing against those artists but it doesn't give other artists a fair shot if they don't get played so much or at all. If they're not playing it how do they know how popular it'll be? Just because an artist is older or more established doesn't mean that people are less likely to want to hear them on the radio either

I love those tweets with her standing up for her music. I am not surprised they deny her comments. It is a shame for any artist to have to say things like that to try and promote their music and be given fair airplay.

Very true! It shows a lot of guts though from Kelly that she's pointing this out even when she's performing at their gig this weekend!
though they did say she had it all, so why not air her?

yeah artists like Adele, Pink, Katy Perry and Ariana Grande don't have to do much for them either for some reason they just get the airtime by just announcing the single.

It's a shame that you hear some artists 7-10 times on the radio a day... while Kelly gets none or only her older songs
