I loved that quote too. I'm like Kelly, I like imperfect performances.

I'm actually not a big fan of clear-cut singing during a live show. I like to hear the raw emotion in the artist's voice. Kelly provides me with that.

I loved what she had to say about that. That it's okay to miss a note or to go a little raspy or to even forget her lyrics (and we know she does that a lot! )

l agree. Having a rock/metal background myself, l can fully appreciate the raw raspy vocals.

Janis Joplin is another favourite. "My mum never liked listening to her when l was little, but l loved it. My mum would be like `she doesn't even have a good voice' and i'd say `listen to that raw emotion and passion behind it".

lt's true isn't it? That's what it all comes down to. Passion! An ugly note can be a great note.

I definitely understand where you guys are coming from. I do love flawless performances, but I also love the rawness in performances. A voice going raspy or forgetting lyrics also shows that the performer is truly singing and not lipsyncing. I hate going to concerts and leaving wondering if they were REALLY singing. With Kelly, it's never that way. You KNOW she was really singing.

It was removed because the person who uploaded it on another board had asked that it be not posted on youtube, etc. So I'm sure whoever uploaded it took it down for that reason.
