2009 American Music Awards Adds Three Idols to Lineup - Today's News: Our Take | TVGuide.com

Three American Idol alums — Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Daughtry — have been added to the list of performers for the 2009 American Music Awards. They will join previously announced acts including Idol graduate Adam Lambert, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez and the Black Eyed Peas.

2009 AMA nominations

"American Idol continually produces great talent and we are looking forward to hosting Kelly, Carrie, Daughtry and Adam. It's a great fit for the AMAs," AMA producer Larry Klein said in a statement.

The AMAs will be broadcast live from Los Angeles's Nokia Theatre Nov. 22 at 8/7c on ABC.

That is definitely exciting news.

I'm not quite sure why Adam Lambert is performing... but I love that Carrie, Kelly and Daughtry are.

It's official! They are going to sing Kelly's "My Life Would Suck Without You" on GLEE!!!

According to the tracklisting for Glee: The Music, Volume 2, MLWSWY is on it.

Kelly was at Jill & Kate's show last night and she performed "The Climb" with them. Here's a little video of it that popped up on Facebook:

I loved how someone y ells from the audience, "Hey Kelly, what are you drinking over there?" and she just reponds with, "Vodka!"
