I'm still hoping that that could be part of the video somehow. Sort of like how the Breakaway video had a sort-of-glam part (Kelly dressed up on the red carpet) but also more Kelly-ish moments.

But, like you, I'm going to love it no matter what. I just love the song too much not to.

That's a really good point! I had forgotten the different aspects of the Breakaway video.

I just hope for some intimate "performance" parts to the video kinda like Because of You where Kelly was with the mirrors

I don't really have anything I really want to see in the video, mostly because when I imagine the video, I can't even begin to think of what it'll be like. I just can't wait to see it.

Kelly Clarkson's success of her latest album All I Ever Wanted hasn't matched up to her blockbuster record Breakaway. However, she's doing all she's ever wanted making solid records that still score several hits using her passionate writing style and her monumental vocals. Her first single from this record, "My Life Would Suck Without You," made the biggest leap to No. 1 in Billboard history and the second single "I Do Not Hook Up" has made a fair impact on radio. While the later was written by popstar Katy Perry, it has failed to take off and is only a moderate hit for Clarkson (the video however is topping VH1's weekly countdown on and off).

That could all change with her upcoming third single, "Already Gone," written by Clarkson herself and produced by Ryan Tedder. While the song may resemble listeners of Beyonce's "Halo" in the opening riff, what will overpower those comparisons is Clarkson's likeability factor as well as heartbreaking lyrics. Tedder co-wrote both tracks. However, Clarkson had lyrically written her version while Beyonce barely had a hand in it after "demanding" a track like Clarkson's. Kelly Clarkson's penned song is a tear-jerking ballad with haunting vocals of having to leave someone. "Already Gone" sums up a previous relationship Clarkson had where it just couldn't and wouldn't work, no matter what road they took, someone of the two had to leave and it would be her. It had to be her more so because of her high profile career that prohibits her from making enough time for a relationship.

Not only is the song one of the hardest hitting (emotionally) on her new record, she's teamed up with video mastermind Joseph Kahn for the fourth time. Previously, Kahn directed her videos "Behind These Hazel Eyes," which broke TRL records and is to date one of Kelly's best directed videos, "Walk Away," which showed her playful sassy side and also our addiction to loving Clarkson, and her 2007 bitter alt-rocker "Never Again," which told a story of deception and mocked the Stepford Wife lifestyle. For her upcoming worldwide single "Already Gone," Clarkson paired up with Kahn for his love of an artistic video to compliment her self-written video treatments. Taking on a more glamorous role in the video, Clarkson is new to playing the "diva" in her videos and will more than likely take on a more autobiographical role of having that high profile career.

Clarkson also shot her 2005 video "Behind These Hazel Eyes" in Toronto. Kahn captured the song's meaning perfectly by showing Clarkson's love interest getting married to someone else while stumbling through a forest out of church to get away from the dream of "thought you were the one." The video takes place in that church and forest and shows a sexy Clarkson performing along side her real-life backing band for the first time (she's since gone on to feature them in both her other Kahn directed videos and her latest two video from All I Ever Wanted.)

The video shoot details have remained under the radar for the most part, having been shot in Toronto, ON last week while visiting for the MuchMusic Video Awards where she performed "My Life Would Suck Without You." News of the new video leaked when Kahn used Twitter to say he'd just shot a video for Kelly Clarkson while Clarkson vaguely has given details in interviews.

Joseph Kahn's catalog jumps back all the way to 1990 and in the late 90's, began doing high profile videos such as Backstreet Boys "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" and "Larger Than Life," Destiny's Child "Say My Name," Rob Zombie "Living Dead Girl," and many more. More recently he's worked with Lady Gaga for "Love Game," Katy Perry's "Waking Up in Vegas," and directed Britney Spears "Toxic" in 2004. Other artists include Ashlee Simpson, Mariah Carey, Eminem, Moby, Aerosmith, Garbage, U2 and Janet Jackson. Kahn's videos are notorious for holding a strong storyline and having great theatrics.
