Yes. I agree with what you said. An updo may have worked and looked pretty too but I love the simplicity of this style.

The photo she took with the #IDOL, you can see that her hair is pulled back from where it was shaved and it's braided. So she is working on growing it out.

Thanks for that. I didn't notice her hair in that pic, it was just this one where it is covered & it looks like she's growing it out. Could just be the style making it look longer than it is too

I agree that the dress does "cover up" that she is and make it hard to tell. But it is also hard to not just get mesmerised by that performance.
