I guess I'm just confused where the black even is in that photo... She's wearing dark blue jeans, not black pants.

I also think the shirt is a bit odd, but she still looks great.

are you calling everyone who likes to wear black dumb? are you saying that anyone who does not adhere to your extensively ridiculous fashion rules are being "dumbed down"? if so, that's offensive to many of us.

you should should take a moment future_husband_of_kelly and remember that an opinion is an opinion. there's no need to belittle everyone else in the process.

Mod Note: I think in fairness and kindness to everyone here on the Kelly board, lets keep discussion focused on Kelly's fashion. This is not a general fashion thread. There are other threads here at Fan Forum to discussion all of the creativity found in the fashion world.

Also, please remember that everyone is allowed to have their own opinions but should be expressed so respectfuly. Putting people down will not be tolorated.

l edited my last comments at the request of our mods here.

l have always had strong opinions and i'm sorry if l did offend anyone. My comments were never meant to put anyone down on this forum. Maybe l should keep things to myself when l post on this forum, alot of people do seem to get offended by stuff l say. l've never ever had a problem on my other forum (i'm totally hard core and brutal over there, and l are loved for it), so l feel l need to be very careful because there is a much younger culture here and young people are often very very sensitive. lf l keep those things in mind, i'm sure this wild beast can be tamed. *wink icon*

Darknessball: l am certainly not making such a claim. To call someone dumb for wearing `black' would be foolish and straight out wrong. What l mean by "dumbing down" is when style icons/leaders dress in black [in the daytime] and make that a standard clothing style. What happens is the public see these people, idolise these people, and then try and dress like these people. The public think that if celebs do it, then it must be o.k to be styled like that. Look at Hollywood; we see guys wearing notch lapel tuxedo's with long black neckties on the red carpet and Caines Festival during daytime events. lt is never o.k to abuse such classic rules of formal dress attire. The black notched lapel tuxedo's have there origions from black lounge suits. Rules exist for a reason...so we can dress appropiately for various social occasions.
