Great vocals, but I'm not a superfan of the arrangement, sadly. It did capture the emotion of the original. I know it's supposed to not be the same, but it just felt... off? a bit.

the vocals are amazing, I agree that the arrangement is differently but like you said I think it's meant that way!
I still think she did a wonderful job! the song is doing well on the charts! It arrived in the top 10 on Itunes  __________________

I've seen that there's a lot of comments about it being different & not as good as the original but as far as I know the album was meant to be that way? They were turning the songs into pop songs sung by pop artists so that's what they did. I'm fortunate I guess in not knowingly being familiar with the original so I can't judge, I just get to appreciate Kelly's vocals for what they are

it's a very different song to me in this way, Kelly made it her own. But isn't that the same that happened with It's Quiet Uptown, you have people who love it and who don't.
Kelly is definitely sharing the song a lot on her social media... when is she gonna do that with Heat?! __________________

I'm glad she's made it her own, I'd say in a way it'd make it easier to not compare? If it was too similar then you'd have to compare. I don't know
