maybe I've considered that but it seems an odd reason to me... maybe if they know that there is supposedly a war between the fandoms so don't think that fans would want it? I agree, I like both. Granted, I don't follow Carrie as far as news/fandom goes, but I do like her music most of the time. They're both talented, and no reason to pit them against one another like they both said.

Now... if they can collab, that'd be great.

Yep. I find that pitting them against one another is very immature and just... tiring. It happens all the time with female celebrities, never men, and it's sexist and gross to me.

I completely agree I don't understand the point of it at all. Why not just respect what they've accomplished & appreciate who they are. I do love that when you look on twitter there's a lot of support for loving both of them though . I think that while the theory is you must be a fan of one or the other & not both the actual fact is there's more people who love both or can at least appreciate both - or its at least showing up that way for me on twitter then

Yeah they did. They couldn't possibly be friends or like each other because they're women & they both won the same competition & then both found success after it
Then its no secret Kelly listened to country as a child & was inspired by it, plus she's sung country. Carrie is country. So they probably connected those things to turn them against each other too. Illogical since the country music industry is actually a family
