Kelly's performance was wonderful, loved it a lot. My favorite out of the night.

Yeah, it was great. I loved how she did AMLT acapella in particular. What a fitting ending. I think it would have been awesome if they had put it at the end of the show, though.

I agree & ending the show completely would have been amazing & even more fitting

. What did they end the show with? A group performance?

I do not know how it ended either but I agree that ending with Kelly/AMLT would have been perfect.

I find it hard to believe it has been so long yet on the other hand it feels like Idol has been around forever so it also feels like it must be longer too. I am not sure if that makes sense

well Idol has been around for a good part of our lives. Its hard to imagine a time when it didn't exist so that makes sense to me. Then I think I see your other feelings too

That sounds about right. We would have been around 10 when it started so its between being a 3rd & a half of our life (3x8=24

so it would have had to run for 16 years & we be 8 when it started to be a third)
