i sometimes forget how much simon loves kelly. it's probably because he plays ping pong in the media about it sometimes, trying to pimp the new crop, but this video seems so genuine. you can tell he likes her.

ya know kelly was talking in that kdwb interview about how a lot of songs couldn't be cleared back in season 1 and a lot of times her first second and third choice she couldn't sing. if you could go back in time and have any song cleared for her, what song do you wish kelly could have sung on american idol?

^^ Oh this is a very tough question!

I think one of them would have to be a full version of "Anyone who had a heart." Ever since she sang part of it in that group medley on Burt Bacharach week, I've felt she would have killed on that song. Mind you, I really did love Walk On By that week so I'm glad she sang that too.

She won't be. She's going to be out of the country by then I think. Someone asked her in a recent interview. She asked when the finale was, they told her and she said that she wasn't going to be around.
