I truly LOVE the Don't lyrics. The first time I heard the song my heart broke when she sings "I hate love!"

Me too. And when she first performed it she was so emotional about it too. I will always remember what she said before the song about being on an emotional roller-coaster lately. Her voice seemed so vulnerable at times.

Truly a beautiful song and astonishing lyrics.

And I've also found a new appreciation for the How I Feel lyrics lately. I don't know why it's taken me all this time but I truly have been more and more in love with those lyrics recently. I just like how it's completely honest and unapologetic.

Mal, I absolutely love the "unless you mean it" part because that's what the song is all about and how we can relate to it so well.

We all want to hear that we are needed or trusted or loved, but it's thrown around so much that only if the words are meant does it matter.

I really love the How I Feel lyrics, Andy. Especially the lyrics in the chorus.

How I Feel is one of my favorites. I agree Katie. I love the chorus!

And

Don't is amazing. I still want to hear a recorded version of that song. Those lyrics really are heartbreaking

I agree with both of you, the chorus of How I Feel is amazing.

I just really like how this song is basically what we all think and feel inside when certain things are happening but we don't say out loud because it may not be the "correct" feelings.
