Kelly's main foray is music, but our girl has been known to be involved with acting a little. From those Ford Commercials during AI, to her stints as Brenda Lee on American dreams, her hilarious skits on Saturday Night Live as Olestra and the Homeless Girl, as well as her musical contributions to motion pictures such as Love Actually, Ella Enchanted, Princess Diaries 2...

I have to say, as funny as she was on SNL, I also think she was fantastic as Brenda Lee on American Dreams. The first time she went on there she had quite a few lines. Her short scene with Joey Lawrence right before she performs as Brenda Lee was really great. She really looked the part. I remember Brenda Lee's official website posting something about Kelly portraying her at the time.

I don't think it's on the website anymore. It was on Brenda Lee's official website and they had posted it on the front page. It was very nice though. They were congratulating her on doing a great job portraying Brenda Lee.

I need to see American Dreams. Did she have a funny role? Or what was her part like?

Kelly was hilarious in SNL, so I know she's got the talent to be pretty darn funny if that's what her character was.

Katie, her role on American Dreams was mostly singing. Kelly was playing the part of Brenda Lee when Brenda Lee sang on American Bandstand. The first time around she had a few scenes....one with Joey Lawrence and one with Brittany Snow and the other girl that was on the show. Very cute and good stuff. And she performed the classic "Sweet Nothins". I think on her second appearance as Brenda Lee she sang Rocking Around The Christmas tree.

Here is the one with her "Sweet Nothin's" performance (Her first appearance)

Her voice sounds soooo good and different on it. It's reminiscent of her Stuff Like That There performance in the way that she really molds into the era and she sounds exactly like she should.
