It has been a rough week. I almost lost my Mom Sunday night. She is okay now, but her blood pressure was so low that they had to life flight her to the hospital. Because of Covid I wasn't allowed to go with her. I brought her home Tuesday, but I have been vigilant about not letting her do things. That is the reason I haven't been here.

Yes. She will tell you in a heartbeat that if I hadn't been shaking her and calling to her to keep her awake and talking to me that she would be dead. She was saying that and when I asked her why she said because it was true. I just did what needed doing. I had already called 911 and we were waiting o the ambulance. The last thing she told me was that she loves me and to call my brothers and tell them that she loves them. I had a dear friend from church on the phone praying. I called the Pastor and had many others praying. One brother called my dad for prayers. Dad started praying even though they have been divorced for 38 years. She is doing great now. I keep an eye on her, but I don't hover...I let her do what she can and then I do the rest.

It was very scary. I meant that I wasn't letting her go without a fight, though. I was starting to get a little pissed because the ambulance didn't come withing 5 minutes of me calling 911. I wound up calling them 3 times and on the 3rd call they happened to pull up just as I was being connected. I live in a very small town and even though the ambulance from here was 30 minutes away on another call the county next to us would have been called. I later found out that they were also out on a call.
