i for one never drink that much, the last time i had alcohol was at christmas time and that was champagne punch.

I live in a college town where campus is blocks from the downtown bars, so it's not that surprising... I don't really like participating except for special occasions, but all the constant partying is really not for me. It gets expensive anyway, and I don't like how the people around me act when they're drunk.

On a lighter note, I just had really good food for dinner and am waiting for ACS: People v. OJ Simpson to begin.

in an area like that I'm not surprised, at least from the way places like that get represented. Unfortunately everyone gets thrown into stereotypes & all are expected to act one way. Just the age group of 18 (could be 21 in the US) to probably 30 is expected to like to drink & party a lot. Most of that goes over my head

but I don't drink at all so maybe that's part of why it all goes over my head . The only alcohol I consume is if it is in cooking & since I don't cook with alcohol it would have to be in the sauce or product already when I buy it. I'm not someone who doesn't touch anything which has alcohol in it, I just don't drink it & never have other than tastes which only made me not want to drink it more

I work retail too, Lucy. It's definitely not fun being on evening shift, I feel your pain. Glad it wasn't too bad, though.
