it's funny how you get ads sometimes, sometimes you only search for 1 thing on 1 website and you get several suggestions for it in the weeks after that

well I don't remember searching for a date

. It was every single advertisement I was getting on

so it was quite annoying. I seem to have fixed the issue now though

Cleared cookies, rechecked the Google Ads settings, kept telling them I didn't want to see them

. You can press the X in the top right corner of the ads - it then gives you two options, one is to stop seeing the ad & the other is 'why this ad'. When you select stop seeing you can tell them why you want to stop & they say they'll try not to show you the ad again. When you click 'why this ad' it tells you why they're showing you that ad & one of the links from there is the option to control your ad settings. In there you can adapt what sort of ads they show you by selecting ones you're not interested in & turning them off. I did that with 'dating & personals' so hopefully that'll make them go away

ads are silly, I really don't understand how they work it out as most of the time the ads aren't related to things I'd be interested in

Sorry had no time to get online yesterday, I thought I would have... Got out of work and was later as usual and we went to a show last night so I was home very late... Doing some damage control now

yeah the ads are stupid!

now I have to shop at a store I've never heard of before

Well on saturday we are able to make a start on the bathroom (even though we don't have full access yet to the house but the builders allow it, so that's awesome!) and on sunday I'll do nothing

oh... that's a shame

yeah everything is bought and planned.. so now only execution... we can only do the walls and floors, no furniture... we need to do the rest until after we get the keys... but it will help save some work after we get the key so we can focus on other things in the house.
