yeah she's becoming big now! Is 4 the age to go to school as well? It is here in Holland.

River looks like she loves her sister so much there  Nope, I'm pretty sure its 5 or maybe even 6. We already know River goes to the Montessori school so that may be different again. Presuming she'll continue with that & isn't just doing that for preschool, I think that starts more at 6 as they do a 6-9 age group class, then 9-12 for the later half of elementary school. I don't know that there are many Montessori high schools though so after that she may need to go to a regular school __________________

Where I am in Florida, some kids start preschool at 3 or 4, and Kindergarten at 5. I think it all just depends on the state/area you live in...

I was just looking at kindergarten for the start of school, not preschool. What I was looking at said preschool for 3 & 4 though
. But I don't know how much that is considered actually a part of the school process or what that is compared to what it is here? I presume Karen was thinking elementary school though, not the starting bits to prepare for school (which is what preschool is here or meant to be). Is preschool compulsory in the US?Either way, I think River won't start school until next year at the earliest since she's already going to the Montessori school. I doubt they'd move her to a preschool for this year when they must have a reason for choosing a Montessori school for the early years. I wouldn't be surprised if she continued with the Montessori schools for as long as they can send her to one __________________

I meant elementary yes! Preschool is to prep for school but you're not obligated to take your kid there, you should let your kid be in school at the age of 4 though
