she kind of describes it as a song you wouldn't instantly say it is Kelly which makes me very curious!

I'm guessing she's going for a summer drop of the album? or late spring? Otherwise she would have announced a winter album right?

Yeah, I feel like we would have more information coming out already if the album were to be coming out in the next few months. It might be more of an April/May deal, if they're even close to finishing it. She's so busy that I'm not sure when she even has time to record, but she did say they have a studio on the NBC lot, I think.

and I think she said somewhere that the deal of the talkshow is also that she still has time for workign on music and such.. I think I read somewhere that music is still the #1 priority.. I'm just not sure where I found that

true true though there must be a film stop somewhere after november I think.. not sure how long eps airs for daytime shows.. and when they have breaks!

Though maybe they are jamming at the show? Her band is there so why not?

She also says that people shouldn't think she's forgetting about her music since she loves it so much!

From a recent interview:

Hopefully by the time her residency rolls around, she will have dropped her new single that's in the works. [B]She didn't offer an official release date, but she did tease a little bit about the song's special meaning. "I haven't had enough time to do a full album, but this song is so powerful. It's one of my favourite songs I've ever been the vessel for," she said. "I love the songwriter, I love the message. It's all encompassing and really magical. It's about inclusivity, connecting with people, taking that higher road, and being the best version of yourself."

Such a shame that the album is probably gonna wait a bit longer but hopefully a new single! That should at least give us an idea of where she could go for this album!!

Clarkson said her music fans shouldn’t be worried though — she recently recorded what she calls “one of my favorite songs I’ll probably ever do in my career.” She will also launch her Las Vegas residency on April 1, 2020. “It’s a beautifully written song and one of my favorite writers in the world wrote it. It’s kind of all of these worlds colliding and … the whole experience has been amazing and hopefully our whole idea for the song pans out,” she said. “I’ve never done anything like this in my career. All of what I’m saying isn’t making sense until you actually know what’s happening, so I’m sorry for the weirdness. But you’ll know by the time it comes out, like, ‘OK, she’s not weird.
