Very interesting article. This is one take on it. I am starting to think that Kristen, Rob, and maybe others, were just tired of us wanting MORE, and did the one thing they knew would stop us from wanting more. Mission accomplished. |

i dont feel that's the case at all.. i think they just want to do it on their own terms.. the only mistake Rob made in my opinion is deviating from what he wanted in the 1st place. i don't think he wanted or anticipated the LoVe stuff to become so prominent. i think their relationship was meant to be just a s1 thing and then he was gonna go back to DuVe (which he did) but fans liked the love/logan more and maybe he was pressured by network to keep with that so it was always back and forth with that into s3. let's not forget his would-be s4 with the whole fbi idea didn't seem to include logan (or much of any of the original supporting characters). then movie happened which since it was funded by fans made sense that he would feel like he needed to include LoVe and then this new s4 had to go from that. if he had stuck to his vision more, maybe the show wouldnt be as popular or lasted as long as it did.. but it still would've been the story he wanted to tell instead of being this bad mish mash of his own vision and fan pandering. he probably took the leap to end the season the way he did so going forward he can just do what he wants but he underestimated the fans or was too hopeful that fans would still stick with the show even after this
there's no need for them to go through with a s4 if they didn't want to do the show.. if they didn't want to do the show, they would just not do the show __________________

ok-well, from a business standpoint then, they were stupid. You do not bite the hand that feeds you. He fed into the LoVe relationship so that's his fault. They didn't have to do it the way they did-leave them married-make everybody happy for awhile, THEN next season, do whatever ya want. This way, no one gets more.
And like I've said before, there were MANY ways to get rid of Logan and have him die a hero offscreen. You don't dump the whole cast and then still call it Veronica Mars. IT is NOT the same show or anywhere near it. What Rob did was cruel to the Veronica Mars fans. Cruel |
