Pedowitz adds that Thomas' schedule is full right now, with the "Veronica Mars" movie coming out in March, but the CW has "great faith" in Thomas and is ready to take the spinoff wherever, whenever. Pedowitz also says that nothing has been ruled out, including turning the digital spinoff into a TV series.

"I have great faith in Rob that he'll deliver something that'll be fantastic," says Pedowitz. "If it ever turned into a TV series again, hopefully he'll think about it. .. Rob will tell us when he's ready to do something and if [the original actors] are there, they're there. If they're not, they're not. ... He talked about potential people who could be involved, but he didn't commit to anybody."

Later yesterday the details of the spin-off were announced - it'll focus on Ryan, or a version of Ryan, trying to cash in on the buzz from VMars again. I can't wait for it.

Hmm so does that mean Veronica won't be part of it?

The Veronica Mars Movie won the first round of the MTV Movie Brawl. It's now facing tough competition against The Rover, so go vote!

Yeah I think I also read somewhere that Kristen will show up in the spin off every now and then. I just really hope they'll make additional movies as well.

So Veronica Mars is beating The Rover by 1% in the MTV Movie Brawl at the moment, I hope it wins. One more day to vote people.

VM won Round Two of the MTV Movie Brawl- we are now in the elite eight against Mockingjay!

MTV Movie Brawl 2014

I love THG too but it doesn't need my vote here- VM does. Normally I wouldn't care about silly things like this but we're still a little underdog project- we need all the attention we can get. Even if we don't win, let's vote as much as we can- just putting a decent show against Mockingjay should get some people curious.
