Yeah his sister was brutally murdered, he found the body, and then his parents thought he did it. So they kinda drugged him and set up a huge conspiracy to cover it all up.

It's sad that he got drugged for no reason, although when he was off the drugs he saw his sister and everything. He just had a tragic young life.

With Duncan his life cycle was "what's next now?"

thanks wendy. that's exactly why I would want duncan back. I actually get it now. teddy explained duncan's character a bit more. he was always my favorite for her and this article even makes it more true imo.

I loved Dunn interview, he basically explained everything I feel about Duncan.

The VM fandom has such a short memory because they favors Logan, and it's kind of ridiculous. People would say "Oh Duncan rapped Veronica!" without remember, the scene they both were drugged [Logan yes, everybody favorite fanboy was a part of drugging Duncan] I don't get the Duncan or Teddy criticism.

I guess fans just prefer the fun character with flaws, over the character with more depth who doesn't party all the time. Dick is another one that fans seem to forget has flaws.

I loved that whole interview.

exactly Tia. teddy doesn't understand how come logan kept getting passes and not duncan? I was watching the episode where logan's mom well died and duncan was there with logan. he also has epileptic seizures which is a real issue these days. I thought duncan was the most real character on the show. I can always sympathize with him.

I know. It just shows how bias and a bit hypocritical fans are, and I sometimes which the showrunners wouldn't listen to the fans.

I think Joss Whendon was one of the few showrunners who didn't listen to what the fans hated and that's why his shows were successful [more so BTVS/ATS]. You have to write what's smart, what makes sense. Not all the time go by what the fans like, cause eventually they'll get bored with that as well. lol

Duncan had a lot of potential but during Season 2, Rob Thomas and Co. Should've found a better storyline for Duncan, instead of the one with Meg.

People are acting like he was just boring, not Duncan has his issues and he was on pills because his sister had died, and he lost so much. People just have a selective memory when it comes to Duncan or whatever Logan and Dick does wrong.
