Lamb died? and no one even cared.. they just said he died & now Keith is sheriff and.. thats it?

I've been away for a couple of days, but I wanted to comment on a couple of things anyway.

First off- if they picked Freddie Prinze Jr over you, Michael, then it wasn't for you. I doubt it will last long if that's the direction they're going in and it's better for you. You'll find something so much more worthy of your talent. Looking forward to it, whatever it may be.

I just voted and Sarah Callie, or whatever her name is (I know who she is, I just forget her real name) is still beating us!!!

I'm still upset that there isn't even one person wearing a black band or nary a mention of Lamb in the episode. At least, I don't think so. Honestly I was a little distracted watching the episode and am going to go back and watch it again.

At least Micheal's still in the credits (as predicted)!!

Oh wait, they'll only open one board? I thought that as long as you get more than 100 votes, it was a done deal...so basically, 100 votes is not enough, you also need to have more than all the rest?

Yeah, I agree, it kinda bugged me too.
I know some people say that no one really liked him anyway, so it's not surprising that no one's mentioned him, but I disagree. It doesn't matter whether he was liked or not, he was the sheriff, and he was killed in the line of duty. You'd think the people working at the sheriff's office would show some respect....

And unlike what some people have said (not here), I think it really wasn't that hard to make a mention of it. I mean, for example, couldn't Keith, in one of his conversations with Veronica, mention that he just got back from Lamb's funeral? Or you know, he had a sign on his desk with his name on it, so they could have shown Keith looking at it and putting it away....or something like that. (no, I'm not bitter...

I agree. I meant to mention that too- whether people liked him or not doesn't matter. He was a police officer killed in the line of duty. Regardless of what happened up until he was killed that he was killed is just a simple fact. He should've been shown respect regardless, doubly so because he was the freakin' sheriff for crying out loud!!

I'm just upset that that wasn't addressed. Take the whole issue of being a fan of Michael Muhney out of the equation- any police officer on any show who is killed should be shown the respect that is given whenever someone dies. My husband, although not a police officer, is a firefighter and they wear a black band around their badges when someone from a neighboring town dies let alone if someone on their own department died. Just the lack of respect that it shows to not have that simple, small, widely known gesture is very upsetting to me.
