I think that they just took it for-granted that V/W are bffs, so they didn't need to show it. I still missed their scenes though.

I really think too much focus was given to Piz and Parker sometimes and other characters/friendships were taken for granted. We barely saw Weevil. And there was such a lack of quality screen time for Wallace.

They really should have given more screentime to the characters we already cared about and were invested in instead of focusing on new ones, especially if (imo) the new ones weren't very likeable and great anyways

The characters we cared about were sacrified for these new characters who weren't that likeable and were ultimately used as tools to mess with LoVe and keep them apart. Which tbh just annoyed me even more.

Oh I agree Michelle! That was lame and that's what made season 3 worse than the others!

Season 3 didn't have the sincerity the other season had, in a way. There were some great (and some horrible) LoVe-moments, and the rape story was a good plotted story. But I'd like some more character exploration. Sure, we saw more of Dick - even some of his sensitive sides - but, even though Lamb got in the title sequence now, we barely saw him. The 2nd season we got some hints about his past, about him having an abusive childhood, and that episode was one of the best of the 2nd season. The acting, the music, the production... Third year seems more... rushed. It seems like they tried to adapt VM to a greater audience, which they probably did, but they kind of failed their old, faithful audience on the way.

Now, I think season 3 is good, but having had a marathon the last few days, I've realized how GREAT the others are compared to this one. The others had me crying, laughing, gasping with shock, realizing things I hadn't the first time around - this time, I cried whenever LoVe went badly, chuckled at some of Logan's, Veronica's or Keith's lines, and a few other things - such as Piz' "social shortcomings", the same can be said about Dick. Or when Lamb saw Keith in his sheriff's outfit. But the comedy used to be different, in a way, before. I miss Wallace too, I miss his mom, I miss him and Veronica hanging out with each other, I miss the sleuthing he took part in, and his daddy issues. Wallaaaaace, come baaaack!
