Oh jeez, I'm so excited about a Kyle/Cassidy thread!

I absolutely adore Kyle Gallner, and am still mourning the loss of one of my favorite characters (and couples, for that matter). Sigh. I can't wait to see how the events of the finale have affected Mac.. poor girl.

Even with everything that has happened, I still love Cassidy. It might be the sad puppy dog eyes, but I can't hate him.. I just feel bad for him. And he and Mac were so totally adorable.

I can hardly hate Beaver either... it's really difficult.

I love Kyle. He's such a cutie. The radio interview he gave to neptune pirate radio a few months back made me fall a little bit for him...

Yes! Haha. I just discovered Neptune Pirate Radio, and was catching up on the shows at work.. yesterday, when I heard they were having Kyle on for an interview, I yelped and almost fell off my chair.. during the interview? Forget it. Total giddy fangirl. It was awesome, hehe.

Two things that I especially loved:
- how he kept interchanging "Cassidy/him" and "I/me," hehe.
- how he really believes that Cassidy did truly fall for Mac and wanted to protect her in own twisted little way (this, especially, I found reassuring. I believe that he really did love Mac, but others have discussed the possibilities of Cassidy using her as a "front," or other things. So yeah.

I totally you Lizzie you have made my day a better one with the Kyle/Cassidy thread, I have been looking for one for the longest time ever.

I so agree with you One and Only about Kyle I totally love him and specially since he did a good job portraying Cassidy. As soon as I saw Cassidy on the first episode I fell in love with him and he quickly became one of my fave characters. To say that I'm still in shock with everything that happened to him and I'm in total denial about it.

About the interview is there a way I can find it and listen to it???

I also still love Cassidy, after that finale I will never call him Beaver again, and despite that fact that he turned out to be the bad guy I still like him and feel for him. That's also a big part of why I loved the season finale and thought it a lot better than the season 1 finale. You feel for Cassidy, and yes he did bad things, but he was also the vicitim, and that's more interesting and heart tugging than Aaron Echolls.

I also loved Mac and Cassidy together, I do believe he genuinely liked/loved her, and I will miss him/them in the new season.

Kyle Gallner played Cassidy perfectly, especially in the season finale, and I'd love to see him in new roles. I will be watching the season premiere of Cold Case just for him.

Finally a Kyle thread!

I agree with all of you saying he is a great actor and his portrayal of Cassidy was amazing. I never felt so much for a murderer or bad guy in general. I just couldn't blame him, I just defended his action in front of my non-Beaver friends.

I also tend to speak of Beaver and Cassidy as different persons. Seeing Cassidy like the little boy who got molested and was treated horrible by his family and people around him. He wanted to forget everything that happened. But then it clicked inside him and he did everything to prevent the secret he had. He was very intelligent so he could make up a scenario giving him what he wanted. Revenge, even.
And then there's Beaver. I see Beaver as the one who was also a little shy boy like Cassidy but he opened up when he found Mac. I truly believe Beaver had feelings for Mac and he tried to have a normal (love) life with her because she was probably the first one respecting him and taking him serious. When he had to to what he had to do, he tried everything to protect her.

I dunno if that makes any sense, though.

Illyria: yes, my roommate and I are watching "Big Love" on Friday night and "Cold Case" on Sunday, so it will be quite a Kyle-filled weekend!

Between the way he was sitting all crouched on the couch in the background at Shelly Pomroy's party, and then the shocked "WOW" when Logan and Veronica came into the party kissing.. yeah, Cassidy totally had my heart.
