All this talk of when we first started shipping L/V sure brings back memories. I didn’t start watching VM until it aired on CBS last August (I was a little slow on the uptake, but am glad I came around…LOL). My first eps. were the Pilot, then the ep. where Veronica sang karoke (forgive my brain for forgetting the ep. name), then AFEC (one of my ALL time favorite eps.). I should have been more observant in AFEC, but I started thinking that (horror of all horrors) that I wanted VD together, because that’s what the show appeared to be telling me. Truthfully, though, I never really felt all that into them, it was more like I was just “playing along” with what the writers were telling me. HOWEVER, I started looking online at VM boards and such and happened to come across a pic of Logan kissing Veronica’s forehead, in front of his locker, from LitB. There was just something about that picture that just got to me from the get go. My head was saying – how could this work- but my heart was already telling me that THIS was THE couple for the show, not VD (I like to blame my momentary lapse of reason on the fact that I watched eps, out of order…LOL). Let me just say that after I saw that pic, I went and downloaded every L/V video I could find on the web and was instantly addicted. I had yet to see them in a romantic scene, in an ep, but I was a goner. I told myself I was never going to get into a couple again (I had been scorned before…LOL), but I couldn’t help it. I’m more hooked on this couple than ANY other couple before.

Lisa--I think I knew LV happened before I started watching S1, but it was still great to get to watch it out on the show.

ETA: Callie--For Sake can't be nominated because it deals with S1 and not S2.

Gah me too. The only other couple obsession I had that comes close to what I feel about them is Buffy/Angel. But I was so young then, I couldn't appreciate them as much as I do L/V!

I've just got a new friend obsessed with VM (the 5th one, yay me!), she's up to 1x10 now and is already shipping L/V

only one of the friends I got hooked ships V/D, I wasn't a happy bunny but she loves Logan too so I let her off

I finally got my mom hooked. This summer I sat her down and she watched season one dvds. After the like 5th eppy she was hooked and all "put the next one on." After LAV she was asking if LV were going to get together cuz she figured DV were "the couple". I told her to just watch and after WOCD she was totally in love with them. When we got to the first eppy of S2 she was devestated and is still wondering whether LV get back together. She hasn't had time to get past 2x03 but I caught her watching The Anti-Prom rerun last Saturday and I said "Shame on you, that's peeking." and she went "JUST TELL ME, do they get together?"

Of course!

I'm trying to get my mom into VM, but it's a slow process. She doesn't like any of the guys (except Wallace), but hopefully that changes soon. She thinks they're all creepy (I can't complain about Duncan really.)
