All of that makes me think that they only hung out once LL and VD were a couple then, even if LV met when Logan arrived in Neptune.

This is going to sort of bother me now, but maybe at some point RT will give ups some more backstory on them from junior high.

But then again, Logan does say rather adamantly to Ms James "Veronica was my friend too". And if they really weren't that close, I don't think her sticking by her dad would have hit him hard enough for him to start treating her the way he did. It always seemed to me like he saw it as a pretty big betrayal.

Hmm, who knows!

Yes, even though there is history there, I agree most of it hasn't been fleshed out. It would be nice to know more at some point.

I first became a fan of these two when he came to her at the end of the episode to ask her to look for his mom. I think though I felt a spark in the episdoe with Lilly's memorial. That was nice to watch when they shared that "look" in the end.

I adore all their scenes in that ep. You could tell even back then that there was so much more there than the 'hate'.

I don't think flashbacks are going to be possible, but that will lead into a spoiler discussion.

I just want some explanation of what they were like in junior high. it would make things so much easier on me.

I also would like to see or hear about the L/V relationship when they were younger. Just to get some more background info. As for Flashbacks, all I can say is that there had better be some that show what happened over the summer. Maybe show some of the evolution of L/V so we can see how they got to the place they are in (in epi 1). It would be better then just a voice over explaination. RT we want pics, show us what happened not just eplain it.

As for whether Lilly and Veronica were friends before or after V started dating Duncan, I've always believed that they were friends before. I don't know, to me Lilly and Veronica seem too close for them to have only become friends because of Donut. Plus, I've always seen Lilly as the type to "adopt" so the 1 year age difference does make sense in that context. Besides, I think Lilly probably rather liked the fact that she was the oldest of their group. Older than her brother, older than her best friend, older than her boyfriend....nice little power trip there, perfect for Lilly Kane.

Neko--I think your point about Lilly loving the power is spot on. She probably had lots of fun being able to round up the troupes for some adventure.
