Maybe she was talking abotu the Post-Epic scene? Whatever reason, it's just annoying fo those of who like them together and want to see them together.

I'm just going to ignore more of her comments and just listen to JD gush about LV.

Erm... What? *Bangs head against wall*. Logan did NOT cheat on her. If she is talking about the summer... Then no. Logan and Kendall hooked up after he and V broke up. Then the epic scene, they weren't together. He poured his heart out to her, and she left. He felt rejected, and I heard he and Kendall didn't even do anything in the LWS. Please someone make her watch the show.

I'm with you Callie--I don't get it, and I won't. Maybe someone needs to convince JD to make her watch an episode with him to get the post acting perspective on it.

I know, it's the way she says if that were her boyfriend and at the same time that makes it sound like she thinks they were together and he did cheat on her, and not just sleeping around randomly.

I really love KB and I would honestly have no problem with her disliking L/V if she had reasons that weren't made up lol. I'd really love to ask her to give me a few examples of how Duncan treated her right

Someone really should compile a list of all the good things Logan has done for Veronica compared with all the good things Duncan has done for her, and send it to her

Logan:

Saved her life... Like 3 times, one which included saving her from becoming a cereal brand
Was there for her when she told him she was raped
Comforted her when she thought her dad was dead
Made her breakfast
Stood up for her in front of all his friends
Talked her out of killing someone
Planned a day on the LOVEEEE boat with her with a nice romantic meal.
Got her car fixed

Duncan:
Only defended her when someone mentioned their relationship (aside from the salt lick)

Erm that's all I can think of.

Just stopped by to say that i love the title

Correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe that KB's quote comes from a script of an old Tv-Guide interview we had already heard about weeks ago.

I don't really care about actors opinions but it's clear that KB doesn't watch the show, therefore she doesn't have the right perspective on Logan's character and his actions.

Btw, i agree that LoVe fans should make a project or something to help KB understand why Logan is worth of Veronica.

Or simplier, she should just start watching her own show.

Duncan didn't really treat her badly when they were together in S2 (if you forget all the Meg lies obviously) but only because he didn't do.. anything at all. I mean, what did they actually do as a couple? The most adventurous they got was sitting on the sofa in the suite. We never saw him take her out anywhere aside from the school dance, he never did anything nice for her, just for the sake of it, because she's his girlfriend. Whereas Logan did all of that within a space of a couple weeks.

So I really hope we get to see that side of their relationship again this season, because we all know Logan's a romantic

Yes... And I think the fact that Duncan lied to her about Meg was bad enough. He impregnated Meg and didn't even tell her, even though it clearly would get an impact on their relationship? He disappeared? He broke up with her without telling her anything in
S1? He didn't care when Veronica told him she'd been raped, he just flipped because she accused him, in addition to Logan who didn't care much about her accusing him, instead he comforted her. Logan is so much better for Veronica, and if KB can't see that then someone should make her see it.

He lied about Meg, he hid Veronica like a whore, he didn't tell his parents... I mean, Logan would show off Veronica! He'd never treat her like a whore. And the way Duncan acted in S1, when he wasn't even standing up for her when he was supposed to still love her? Worse than what Logan ever did (except maybe the Kendall thing) in my book. Plus, he got mad when she was so stuck on the bus crash! How could she apologize to him later? That, wasn't Veronica Mars.

I was trying to go easy on him and not bring up the S1 stuff

heh. Didn't want to make myself mad. IMO, if I were Veronica it would be much harder for me to forgive Duncan for what he did to me in the past, than what Logan did.

Another thing that really bugged me was when Veronica ran to Duncan telling him that the bus crash was meant for her.. he looked suitably shocked, and then never mentioned it again? I'm sure if Logan thought that there were someone out there trying to murder his girlfriend, he'd try and do something about it.

That's true... but that's DK. He never did anything at all, except maybe stalking and trying to get her back behind Logan's back.

I'm not sure if in KB's mind, since the epic speech was a declaration that Logan wanted them to be a couple again, sleeping with Kendall Lacey McBimbo cheapened that declaration for her. I'm sure there'd be a good 800 people who'd tell her 'You weren't 'on a break', you broke up with him, he wasn't cheating!' LOL.

I think KB's staunch defense of Duncan has a lot more to do with the Teddy Dunn hating than Duncan's redeeming qualities as a character. Michael, Jason and everyone jump on the same bandwagon because they like Teddy as a person since he's a nice guy and I think they have a hard time separating dislike of Duncan as a character and Teddy as a person, given some people's reaction and the bashing of Teddy's acting abilities, etc. She also probably knows about RT's and the writers vision for Duncan rather than the actual perception of the character based on his actions in canon...she probably saw Duncan as 'steadfast and loyal, if hindered by guilt and the tendency to stand idly by' and we saw a guy that put forth effort for Meg, but seemed to take Veronica for granted in S2.

Hee. The list might be a good idea but she has admitted that she thinks Veronica belongs with a more mature Logan and they should end up together, so I block out everything else she says about them as a couple.

I think we all think that Veronica was still a bit silly for staying with Duncan, but that's why we're here, right?

I'm going the graphics for the Songs--they should be up later today, so I'll put up two today, then two tomorrow, two on Thursday and one final one on Friday.

This is something that bugged me about Duncan too. Okay, let's reverse the, put Logan in Duncan's situation and Duncan in Logan's. So Veronica goes to Logan and tells him that the bus crash was meant for her, would he just hold her as she cries and then not do anything about it? No. He would tell her that he'd help and they'd find whoever is trying to hurt her. When Veronica figures out that a dead guy who had his name on her hand was connected with Duncan's dad (who had previously tried to kill V), would Logan just sit back and do nothing and hey, even invite Duncan to live with him in his suite? Uhh...

Duncan was passive sure, but it wasn't like he didn't do anything. To me, the things he did in season 2, as opposed to the things he sat back and ignored, reflected badly in his relationship with Veronica and makes it hard for me to believe that he loved Veronica as much as he says he did or as much as RT and KB say he did. Worse, I think, is how Veronica responded and let him get away with so much. Like when Veronica found out that he was visiting Meg regularly. When she tries to broach the subject in a non-accusatory "why did you keep this from me" way, mind you (Which I think is how she would have reacted if it had been Logan), he completely shuts down. And then she still spends the night? It frustrated me to see our beloved action figure heroine voluntarily put up with such crap.

You know the promo that was shown at Comic Con? It might be a good project to make something like that except comprised completely of great LoVe moments from seasons 1 and 2, burn it onto a dvd and send it to KB. Along with a list of LoVe moments and why we love them so much. I don't think Duncan bashing would go a long way with her, but if she got the fan perspective of LoVe, who knows? She might realize she's missing crucial stuff by not watching the show and actually start watching it.
