| The same with me Kendra, on both counts. And I most especially wanted V/D together right now as opposed to later. And by them getting together, shown in the flashbacks, it just came off less compelling imo. Which I was pretty grateful for. Being spoiled I had been dreading how it would come off onscreen and I was just relieved that there's still nothing there. And it just seemed off, too perfect, too sweet and this of course plays into Veronica wanting to recapture what she had with Duncan. But we all know once you go Logan you never back (Right Fleur  ) Rob wasn't kidding about liking to see Logan tortured, was he? But I'm anxious to see how all of this plays out with Kendall. I fine with the fling, I'm just ulimately worried about the consequences once something like this comes out. I'm so in love with the caps Melissa already has at her site. I'm kind of conflicted on whether or not I want them to be like this until they end things, or have them become a little bit more real. On one hand if they're all sweet I can just continue to say it's Veronica playing 'normal' with Duncan, on the other hand, I might have to gauge my eyes out if I see too many scenes with them being all lovey-dovey. | ~*I did not find the VD scenes cute at all! I know that in the long run this is good news for LoVe but I felt like the VD scenes seemed forced. There is no chemistry there and if you ahve no chemistry it doesn't work. They seemed like brother and sister.....(Well except for the kissing. | I don't think I blame Veronica for dumping Logan either,... But... Poor Logan... How much more can he handle? His dad beat him, then his girfriends is killed, his mom kills herself, his dad is found guily of his ex-girlfriends murder. Who he loved... He finds out from the radio... OUCH! | I did not like the scene where they broke up, I didn't think that was right having him break her lamp and scream in her face. I thought last season we had Logan grow past that kinda thing. Plus I was mad at Keith for interrupting and throwing him out 'your out of here for good' or something was just way too harsh.I guess now Duncan is her good boyfriend, the one that Keith loves, and Logan is her bad boyfriend, the one that yelled at her and broke things, but whatever, VD first LoVe forever! I loved Dick with his whole line 'hey Logan and your lady friend who I approve of completely...' | Bringing this post over here from the main thread cuz I want to share my thoughts with all of you. You guys have moved fast since last night. I LOVE the thread title, but it also breaks my heart a little. My post from the ep. thread: Okay I had to come in work early before my 2 day meeting started, so I could share my opinion with you guys. I couoldn’t bear the thought of waiting till next Monday to give my opinion – pathetic I know!  Let me just start by saying I was spoiled for this ep. so I was not that surprised by many of the occurances. I knew Logan was going to be at the door. I knew that him and Veronica dated over the summer, but that she was with Duncan at the start of the school year, I knew the bus was going over the clip, etc. Maybe that’s why I was a little disappointed in the ep. or maybe it was the fact that I felt so damn bad for Logan all ep. He was so messed up by the PCHers and then got arrested for stabbing Felix. Not only did he have to deal with his dad’s trial, but he almost went to trial himself. I’m SO happy that Veronica stood by him through all of it and it’s obvious she believes that he didn’t do it (thank God). I was so happy to see the LoVe scenes in flashbacks, all of them (except the breakup) were so damn cute. I especially loved the scene in the X-Terra, other than the gun shot. When Logan told her he was in love with her, I started crying. Partly cuz I was in shock (I was not spoiled on this), partly because I was so happy and partly because I knew that they were going to brake up. Did I mention I’m pathetic? Now the 2nd time I cried was when Veronica broke up with Logan. A small part was because they were breaking up, but mostly because my heart broke for Logan. That whole scene was so gut wrenching. Kudos to JD for an amazing acting job. While I was upset that Veronica broke up with Logan, most of me understands why she did it. It doesn’t mean I’m happy about it though. So I don’t offend anyone, let me just say that I’m not really going to touch on the VD scenes cuz I didn’t like them. Still no chemistry in my eyes. I love the dynamic of Wallace and Veronica. They’re scenes were really cute. Plus, I loved Keith’s interaction with them too. It was nice to see them all goofing off together and that scene where Wallace is trying to pee – PRICELESS. On to Meg – let me just say that she has NO right to be pissed at Veronica. Didn’t Veronica essentially to what Meg did. Plus, Veronica dated Duncan first. I was very disappointed in Meg. I’m interested to see what happens with the bus crash. It wasn’t a shocker to me because I knew about it. I just hope Meg isn’t dead. 3 more things: First of all I completely and totally believe Veronica’s “Logan?” was one of concern cuz he wasn’t turning around. Not because she was surprised it was him. She’s known Logan for 12 years and Duncan for probably longer than that. You can’t tell me she can’t tell the difference between them when their back is to her. Plus why would she go on to date Logan and look so damn happy when he professed her love if she wanted it to be Logan at the door? She wouldn’t. Second of all, I’m very happy that they made a point of telling us in a few different ways that she didn’t brake up with Logan for Duncan and that she didn’t jump right to Duncan after the breakup. Thank God – I was worried about that. Last but not least, it’s obvious the triangle is alive. There was definite angst between Logan and Veronica during and after their bus conversation. Those looks they gave each other when Veronica was on the bus were priceless. There is still something there. I have no doubt about that. Also, it was obvious that Logan ran to Kendell to forget about Veronica. Hate that he’s with her and did that, but that’s what it was none the less. Sorry these thoughts are a little scattered, but I’m in a hurry. I have 5 mins. before I’m off to my boring meeting. Hope to log on later, but not sure if I’ll be able to get back until Mon. | The V/D musical montage was really bad and I'm not being mean when I say that. I have respect for their shipper fanbase but I'm with you Caro, I felt even less chemistry last night. I think that's why I came away happy for the most part. I honestly believe now V/D and the triangle are being set up to build up the angst and tension once again between L/V. And I know things are rushed and seem off but they usually have so much to pack into the premieres. | My heart is still broken. I was completely spoiled for last night...even for Logan's confession of love...but it still hurts.  I don't think L/V are over because there has to be a triangle but I also don't want to see Logan pining for Veronica while she's with Duncan and he's diddling Kendall on the side. I can't help but be annoyed with Veronica for acting like everything was peachy keen and everything...because they aren't. The girl is in denial and avoiding dealing with her issues. Whatever happens...I really hope that Logan won't take her back so easily. Because right now, I think he would take Veronica back in a second if she wanted to get back together. ETA: Squee!! | Caro!!!! Awesome babe, loving every one one of those caps. Shlee, I really think that's the point. Normal is the Watchword but like we've been hearing, everything isn't as it seems. I really feel the stuff with V/D is just so artificial right now on Veronica's part. She's desperate for normal, the perfect senior year with the seemingly normal boyfriend. But we all know Veronica 2.0 isn't cut out for that and I really see things falling apart. And Logan is being set up as the bad boy once again - no big suprise there. He's still got so many issues and we knew over the summer that all of those have to be dealt with etc. Although I'm still so completely biased in that he's just hurting, lashing out (as with the lamp).
