| Algebra is a lower level math class? I have Core math so I don't know what the levels of math are for 'normal' schools. Our math III (junior) is heavy on algebra though. It's suppose to help with the SAT/ACT. Granted I took it my freshman year. I liked BaV but I was sad that Logan wasn't in the episode. | Algebra usually is taken by freshman. I took it in middle school though. Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus... | Wasn't there some talk at some point that Wallace was a soph? Argh...ages...so confusing... 9th - Algebra I, 10th - Algebra II/Geometry, 11th - Algebra III(?)/Trig, 12th - Pre-Calc I think that's more or less standard for high school, right? We has Regents exams here in NY so my math classes were called Sequential Math I-III so I'm not entirely sure of the curriculum. I think most don't take Calc until college unless they're honors level. | |||

| I think all schools are different. But Algebra? Usually taken as a freshman or before... at my school. And I am taking AP Calculus as a senior. Some of my friends took it as juniors though. I'm not sure... in the pilot description, Wallace is a sophomore... but then afterwards... I got the feeling he was a junior. | I'm an idiot so I finished Algebra 1 the summer before Junior year....Thats the only math class you *have* to take to graduate so thats all I'm taking. I hate math. | My school has Math I (didn't take), Math II (Basics of Trig/Geo/Algebra), Math III (heavy Algebra and Trig), Math IV (Stat/Geo/Alge/Trig). Then if you go on Pre-Calc, AP Calc, and AP Stat.
