It's not that I want to be married to him ( don't mind my avi ), but I always find it kind of weird that people marry at such young age... And I don't know why the hell they can't wait... Why marry at all!!!??? You can stay together and not be married.... AND the divorce ratings are very high when you marry young....And and and.... ( Maybe it's just the jealousy speaking....I don't know )

I don't believe in marriage that much myself but most people do. Plus getting married young is this new 'fashionable' thing to do, it's never been as popular as it is now. I know so many people that got married at 22-23!

Anyway I would rather not get married at all Vera......

Okay Caroline , let's NOT get married!!!

My friends all got married at age 27/28 and now all the little babies are arriving.... Oh I forgot all the houses they built before the babies... It's a general plan they're all following... That makes me sick sometimes!!!! Although I love my friends, but they are so conservative!!!! Well, most of them are...

Yeah, I know a bunch of ppl who got married at 22/23. My brother is almost exactly the same age as JD and he's getting married in about a month... to my grandparents' great displeasure. (My parents are cool with it, but my grandparents just can't understand.)

I just think about the guy I was with when I was 23, when I would have married him at that age ,... Hmmm , what coud've been?????

Juju - Are your grandparents against the marriage or against the girl???

Caroline - Same here with my younger brother, he dated a girl for 7 years I could not stand, actually my whole familiy couldn't!!! He finally broke up with her 2 years ago , and now he's dating a girl I would love to have as my sister in law!!! She's 22...Hmmm maybe they get married soon, it's THE age to get married now,, you know

Yeah, I like her. She completely fits into the family. And it's weird bec everyone thinks we look alike. (My other brother, who got married at 27, but his wife was 19, thinks it's hilarious to call us by each other's names.) And my grandparents are against the marriage bec they think they're both too young. Which is probably true. But you know, love will conquer all and such.

Okay your other brother got married at 27 and his wife was then 19?!

At least you like the girl so it's the most important thing in the end, who cares when they actually get married whether it's in 1 day or 10 years...

Vera- I love my brother's new girlfriend and I hope they'll get married eventually!

My mother used to ask my sister and me why we were always having such "nice" boy-friends, and my brothers were always dating the worst girl-friends ever ( character wise ).... BUT sometimes even brothers do get it right.... As we can see now!!!!

Yep. And they've been happily married for 11 years. And any problems they've had along the way have been bec my brother is still an immature six year old, and nothing to do with my sis-in-law's age.

Wow that's a pretty big age difference, especially when you are 19. It's coll though and I am glad to hear that they are happily married. I am a scuker for those stories, just don't think it can happen to me... I am just so unlucky in love!... It becomes almost funny

Yeah, I don't think any of us thought it would last very long, especially since they had only been dating for a very short amount of time, and, when they met, she was engaged to another guy. Which still cracks me up.
