Exactly, if she couldn't even say it to Donut when she was never going to see him again, she wouldn't have said it to Logan if she didn't mean it.

I think her relationship with Logan just freaks her out sometimes. She's never been in a relationship like it before. Her relationship with Duncan was so easy because they both liked to push their issues aside and forget about them. Logan forces her to confront things that she sometimes doesn't want to confront, but it's much healthier in the long-run. She needs someone who's willing to push her.

I completely agree. Duncan was the king of avoidance and for a while there, Veronica was his Queen. Now, she needs to get used to being a real relationship where both people have to communicate and compromise with each other in order for it to be a successful relationship rather than a parody of one like S2 VD.

ITA. Plus, her not saying I love you in return to Duncan gave me the impression that he wouldn't have gotten off easy with Veronica if he didn't have to leave forever. Even if he didn't have to run away and he could raise his daughter in Neptune, I think things were over between them on Veronica's side. This is what I like to think to make the lack of emotional continuity in those series of episodes and the overall horror of Donut Run easier to bear. lol.

So true. She doesn't get called on her crap nearly often enough and Logan's the only guy she's dated that's done it...repeatedly. Wallace has stood up to her before and she felt bad but she didn't really change in the long-run. It took him leaving in season 2 for her to wake up. I think the same case may apply to Logan. Veronica's going to have to lose him first to see what she's got. Otherwise, she can keep taking his words for granted because he's not going anywhere anyway.

The last scene broke my heart and seeing Logan standing there watching Veronica willingly avoid his call frustrated, saddened, and made me hate her all at once. I wanted the I love you scene to be a resoultion to what happened between them, although I knew it wouldnt be all cotton candy and butterflies. He tried to make things work because he does love her, I just dont think she realizes at the moment how big of a part of her life Logan really is. Maybe a break is the only thing that will make her realize how much she truly does love him.

!

So this is my first time posting on the VM board and I'm kind of sorry that I waited now given everything that's been happening between them lately and since I've liked them for awhile now. But anyways, I just wanted to say that you guys all make some very good points about why Veronica acts the way she does and now I might have a smidgen more sympathy towards Veronica than I did before. The last scene with Logan last night just about broke my heart and it made me cry, coz I just felt so bad for him. Anyways, it inspired me to write a poem about LoVe based on Veronica's perspective. I hope you guys all like it

Logan's face in that last scene absolutaly killed me. It seriously made me want to cry. That was such great acting by JD. My little LoVe heart is breaking right now.

I just felt so disappointed that she would do that to him after what happened in their previous scene

Hey, I totally agree. I also thought it was out of character... I think that if he had known about everything, he wouldn't even have let her out of her room. Maybe the purpose of the scene was to get him to see how concerned with Veronica's safety Logan is?

This song makes me think of Logan and how he feels about Veronica. He loves her so much, she the first person that he truly felt real love for. He's done all this before with Lily, where she played with his emotions and did what she wanted.

Does anyone else feel like Veronica is acting a lot like Lily this season. The avoidence of Logan, not putting his feelings into the equation. Being this tough badass girl who all the guys fall over. Expecting people to live up to her standards, but refuse to alter her life in any way.

Logan went overboard, but I get why he did it. If he hadn't shown up when he did, who knows what would have happen to Veronica. I think he's the only one who knows about Cassidy raping her, Wallace knows about Duncan, but I don't think she told him about Cassidy. He's the only one who saw the message the rapist truly sent to her.

You think she would remember the past he has with women. The past two most important women in his life, have died and a part of Logan feels like he let them down. And if he had just try a little harder to protect them they wouldn't be dead. It's through Logan, that Lily met his father who later killed her and then got away with it. We know he felt very guilty even before he found out it was Aaron and what led to her murder. And with Lynn, Logan probably feels if he just taken more of Aaron's attention off hurting Lynn or if he had just gotten her to leave Aaron she would be alive as well. If the last two women that he love more than anything ended up dying brutal tragic deaths it doesn't surprise me that he's on edge.

When Logan loves, he loves hard and strong. And when he loses that person, he takes it hard. I'm surprise losing both Lily and Lynn is such a short time apart from each other, Logan is able to go on the way he does. It makes sense why he parties like he does, he doesn't want to think about what has happen so he entertains himself. I know the feeling, you want so desperatly to be happy that you will do anything to savor just a few moments relief. And as far as we know, Logan has never gotten proffesion help for all he's gone through, so a lot of that stuff is still burry deep inside of him.

I know Veronica loves him for real, she's afraid of letting him in though. And it's not just because a lot of people have dissapointed her. Logan know pretty much all her secrets, he's seen her at her most vunerable. He sees right through all the bull she puts up as an shield. He knows what she's going through to an extent with both their moms and about Lily. Logan is the only male who can keep up with her, who is her equal, who gets her to challenge herself in a good way. Logan's the real deal, and if she was to be real in this relationship than she have to be real with herself and him and she's not willing to do that yet.

Here is what I think will happen...

I really do think that when they break up, she wil date Piz on the rebound. But that relationship will fail because Piz isn't what she's looking for and she will still be in love with Logan. And I'm praying it's Veronica doing the breaking up after she's come to the realization that she wants Logan. Veronica needs to come to this thought on her own.

I really hope Logan does something for him, like works at doing well in school and working through his issues. Moving out of that dark suite into a place on the beach where he can go surfing. That would be an interesting episode, Logan's moved and Veronica doesn't know, her showing up and finding him gone. I don't think he will get a friend with benfits girl, he might go on a few dates but I don't think anything serious. Hopefully he makes some real friends and starts branching out with his life.

They will begin to dance around each other, making comments that have double meanings and such. They will have longing looks at each other and maybe some near kisses or they will actually kiss. I would like it if Veronica asks Logan out on a date, having her make the first move. And it would be one of those awarkward first dates(that turn out to be great) with someone you really like.

Where things will start to get good for them again and then something really bad will happen. And I think it will happen to Logan because Veronica needs to come close to losing him forever to realize what he means to her. Breaking up is one thing, Logan is still alive and still in her life. Besides is something happens to her, they would just have the same agurement over again about her safety.

That's right, it's like he's the only one that doesn't let her be the one to lay down the rules and such. With Leo or Duncan it was all about what she wanted to do, or what she wanted in a relationship. With Logan she don't get to dictate the rules and he does things that upset the hell out of her, but even so she loves him too much and she can't let it go. That's why I think he's the first guy she truly loved... she doesn't want things to go bad, or to break up (at least I don't think that) but she's dealing with the fact that he cares a lot for her and he want's her to be safe. Besides her dad and Wallace she never had someone caring for her like that, and even with Wallace she took her time to let him in. It's understandable that she's scared... but she need's to deal with it other wise Logan will get sick of this thing, she's the only thing he has in his life right now, and it must to kill him to see that this relationship might be ending.
