also, I have a though RE: veronica as a character;
Does anyone see Veronica Mars as a new type of modern feminist? in the third season, it sure seemed like it. I know little about Feminism, but I have an inkling, for example; she doesn't just victimize one gender (although women in VM universe are often the victims); Veronica is more concerned with equality of justice.
She often sees past gender and looks only for the true perpetrator. I see modern academic feminism as a quest for gender equality more than anything else (though perhaps this is not the idea of feminism that we are all familiar with in the media), and Veronica shows this in how she doesn't allow the feminists at Hearst (who are very, understandably, upset by the rapist on campus) to place blame on the easiest target (the horn-dog frat houses) but insists on finding the true culprit and not laying blame out of anger (aka Parker). rape is a problem at campuses and I see that victims are frustrated often in getting justice when raped.

she also needs men (hold on let me explain!) her bff is a male, she is so close to her father, she is saved by logan, but she ALSO saves him (prob more often, lol!), weevil, etc.

Im not saying Veronica is necessarily the put-work-before-everything-else (relationships etc.) type feminist (she might be though), but she is a new kind of woman that doesn't fit either gender stereotype. She "does it like a man" in so many ways, she is not your typical old fashioned female role model, she is not very sweet (unless she wants to be) somewhat bossy, opinionated, smarter than most people, somewhat judgmental) I love female characters like this. I see they are more and more common. She is no delicate flower, but she can be, you see this part of her in the love she shows to her family, friends...etc. She needs her loved ones and they need her...

am I making sense to anyone?! lol
