Farewell Veronica Mars board!!!

This board has had an amazing run. As one of the original mods, it was an honour to see this board from its inception to its end. I still remember the passionate fandom we had while the show was running as we discussed the characters and mysteries as well as everything in between. I especially love how everyone was always respectful of other people’s opinions. As the show ended and the fandom evolved, I will always cherish being part of the loyalty that kept everyone coming back to this show. While we never got our movie, there were still many other things to discuss. Sadly though, the show has been off the air since 2007 and lately board traffic has decreased considerably and many of the discussions have tapered off. Due to this, Roz and I made the difficult decision to close the board. But I want to thank everyone for an amazing run as I had a great time being a mod of this board. I also want to thank my former co-mod Moonie and my current co-mod Roz as well as all the posters over the years. You guys made this an experience to remember.

It was a tough decision for Liz and I, but we've decided to close the board, and the Mod Managers here are giving us one more week before the board will be closed.

We want to thank all of you posters here for your dedication to the show, especially after the show went off the air. We've been glad to be here with you to discuss the show, but felt that the board has been lagging in recent months.

wow. i'm really sad to read this, but i greatly respect your decision.
thank you for all the time and love you have all dedicated to this board over the years.
i haven't been here long (in fact i discovered it terribly late) but i have enjoyed my time here very much.
