Veronica Mars - The Great Veronica Rewatch!! (Week of 6 Oct - Nevermind the Buttocks)

Lizzie and I have decided to do a board-wide rewatch of the series.

We're going to start on Monday (or now) with the Pilot!

Hopefully we can all talk about the episodes for a week (just like we did when the show aired.)

My best mate desperately wanting to watch the last 2 episodes of S1 (whilst tipsy on Friday night/ Saturday morning) has totally inspired me to rewatch. So tonight, definately!

I watched it last week, so may have to go back and rewatch it again to refresh my memory...!

Yeah, I haven't watched the pilot yet, but that can't stop us from talking about it.

I suppose that to start this off, it's an interesting way to start the show with that flashback to how Veronica found herself in front of the Camelot.

The question is: do you guys watch the dvd version of the pilot, or the aired version? Cause that differs as well, right?

It does matter--I don't have the aired version, I'm pretty sure. Just the DVD.

But since the week is almost over--we really should get this started.

What did everything think of each of the characters after the pilot? What made you keep watching?

Okay, dvd version it is.

One thing I remember thinking when watching for the first time was that I had trouble believing VM 1.0 and 2.0 were the same V. Not in a bad way, but I was kinda shocked that one person could change that much. And I wanted to find out more about this person.

I didn't care for Duncan, thought Logan was a jackass and didn't even like Keith all that much but I loved V and Wallace

I think that Veronica's POV the whole time made it easier for me to buy the differnce between 1.0 and 2.0. She was really hardened by Duncan blowing her off, Lilly's death and the 09ers turning against her.

I don't think I really liked anyone at the end of the pilot, except V and Wallace. Everyone else has to work for my respect.
