As I said before, I loved Aly as Trina and I hope they don't recast her but get her to do two guest-appearances or so. After all her new show is just an half hour comedy...

Tara Reid can't act. I'd like to repeat here - I don't want her on my show! I'd rather see Paris Hilton back or shoot myself in the leg.

As for Mac and Weevil etc. I agree that they are probably not necessary for the whole story but as Tracy said - they bring a certain charm to the series and I love them and I don't want them to go...

Now, to move on with the discussion. I am half relived that Teddy is signed, but is it actually in stone? I mean it's awhile before they start shooting again right? Things like this usually get me all worried. I think I may have to write to the network, but then again when I had issues with Buffy in the past, I don't think they even cared, so I don't think now will make a difference either. I think the network is more concerned on making the money, then making fans happy. (insert bad word here).

Well the only real regulars are Veronica, Wallace, Duncan, Logan, Weevil, and Keith. So if what Kristin said is true, it'll be happening to these character (minus Veronica of course).

ETA: I don't know if TD's 22 ep contract is set in stone.

Yeah, I think they kill Weevil and Wallace and Duncan or Keith will be reduced to not being in every episode.

More likely people would be annoyed by Tara Reid. The main reason Credit Where Credit Is Due is considered one the lamer episodes by many is Paris Hilton. And Tara Reid is just another Paris Hilton.

As for Teddy's contract, he could have been given the contract earlier but if they have changed their mind they could try to settle or buy him out. So it's not completely set in stone. But I would think it would be a bit of overkill to kill the remaining Kane child.

As for a new love interest. What Logan and Duncan are not enough?!? This show does NOT need another love interest. At least not at this time. And the whole older thing makes no sense to me. It has been done with Leo already.

Yeah, I doubt they'd kill the other remaining Kane child. But I don't think anyone with a contract is really safe. They can just have the character remain in flashbacks or buy them out. So I'm worried. The cast is great the way it is and I wouldn't change anything.

Ugh! I made the mistake of checking out TwoP to see what they had heard and got bombarded with lots of kill the Donut comments and how they are all going to call and write to save Logan. Why can't people just like both characters? Big mistake to go there cause it always makes me ranty!

Yeah, I saw that too. It's annoying. God, why can't people just act maturely. I don't want to see anyone killed off, they all bring something special to the show. I can handle it if Rob Thomas planned to kill a character off for the show, but for the network to order it? No way am I handling that one.

People were saying kill Donut? That is just wrong. Teddy has proven himself to be a huge asset to the show. I was extremely impressed with his acting, expecially in ATttD. I can't really see VM without him.
