Well, considering Lianne was in a bar I think it's safe to assume that she was drunk. Perhaps she's turning to alcohol to ease her pain?

If you can possibly go, I say go! If you're lucky enough to be able to. There's no events like that here (Chicago) because no shows shoot here.

Just take a friend! I'm sure they wouldn't mind to see some TV stars. Get them to watch an episode!

Is there a signing or anything like that where you get to talk to them after? That happened once... Amber Benson was at a Chicago comic convention that Joss Whedon was at too. Same day- I met and got a picture with AB (who is the nicest person you could meet) and saw the Joss panel with a clip of Serenity!

Most likely.

And Logan made indications in the pilot that Lianne liked to drink. Whether he said that just to annoy Veronica or if it had truth, I don't know.

I remember that.

But, I don't know, I still think it was more than just being drunk. Lianne seemed aware that people (or just someone) were/was around that could hurt Veronica. And if she's been out of commision for this long, it seems likely they may be drugging her with something to maintain that she'll stay that way.

But who knows! We've never heard of Lianne drinking outside of that one little dig at Veronica, and this show has been pretty good with continuity so far.

I thought it was someone who just looked like Clarence. Veronica saw the guy and thought it was him, then looked more closely and realized it wasn't. Am I wrong?

I'm practically positive that it was Clarence Weidman at that bar.

Actually Veronica mentioned it herself once in a voice-over. She mentioned something about her mom's drink of choice is tequila.

Hey everyone!

I'm really bummed that the next new episode shouldn't be until the end of March, but I'll probably be busy with school...

Ruskie Business was good, but to me, it didn't seem to stack up to the other episodes. I thought the Lianne scene at the end was a little rushed.

I adored the scenes b/t Logan & Veronica... He was definitely giving Leo the once-over when they were at the dance.

I LOVE Wallace, but I agree with him. When he & Veronica hang out, she should HANG OUT. I feel like eventually, he'll get tired of her always asking him for favors (especially favors that could get him expelled).

I definitely think that scene with Lianne came out of no where and was a bit rushed too, but you have to admit, it was a pretty good cliff hanger to leave us with for the next few weeks of reruns.

It was a good cliffhanger, leaving us with so many additional questions now.

That was my reaction when I saw Lianne and Clarence, who I coulda sworn was a white guy the very first time we saw him . But talk about leaving you hanging until the next hiatus! Just a couple of more weeks ...

Yeah, there really was no inclination that Lianne would have any part in the epiosde, but that did make it all the more surprising. And the episode was full to the brim with plot already.
