I'm really interested to see Veronica go up against Keith... let the sleuthing begin.

Good episode.

What I like about VM is the pacing. This is one show were you aren't watching the clock hoping certain scenes will end to get to "the good stuff". It's all good.

Only downside to this one is that everyone... Especially, Kristen Bell, now looks like they should be in CSI instead of VM. Francis has a beard, Veronica's new hair makes her look closer to her age (mid-to-late 20s; 30) and I just could not shake the fact that none of them look like teens.

out of 4.

Oh my, they just made a "rimjob" joke about Weevil. Mwaha, I can't wait to see how the TwoP people react to that one.

The ink in the safe? Scared the daylights out of me when it popped. It was a hilarious scene though. I loved the corny jokes about being blue in the face and Keith being VM's patron. He really does double the cheese.

Logan! Poor woobie. Somebody needs a hug. I love how Veronica tried to comfort him. Logan is still just so scared to accept that kind of friendship. I loved them together though. I kept begging VM to squeeze his hand or *something*.

I liked how they threw in a plot twist even though the teacher ended up being guilty after all. I wasn't expecting the other girl and the pregnancy.

My God, why can't all TV be this good? 60 minutes chock full of good plot. So Abel knows he's dying and confesses for what? Did the Kanes (or whoever) promise to take care of his family after he's gone?

Also, Duncan has epilepsy? I swear, they're so obviously pointing to him as killer that it can't be him. Which means he'll stay on the show. Which means they need to start developing his character more.

I can't wait for this show to come out on DVD!

Eeek! Next week's preview! Did I see VM's hand on Logan's knee or was my LoVer brain imagining it? Also, Willow! Yay!

Tonight's episode was good. They really had me second guessing myself with the teacher situation. Did he or didn't he? In the end he both didn't do it and did do it. Both Mars' were right.

The sexual jokes that Veronica was throwing Weevil. OMG! She likes him so much even she doesn't really know it. hee hee

I felt bad for Logan. He was being torn so many ways in this episode. I knew that the video wasn't going to be the end of it. For a show that prides itself on being unpredictable I saw that one coming. Sad thing is that I believe Logan is just going to get his hopes up and in the end we will she really is dead. He'll be crushed if that is the case.

They are really after Duncan to be the killer. So we still are left with maybe... It seems so obvious that they can't have it be Duncan.. then again, we expect that so maybe they will turn it around and have it Duncan. It is really is really hurting my head. I can't wait for a straight answer by the end of the season.

If Abel is dying and took the fall because of money to provide for his family after he is gone... Then why bring up that Veronica may be a Kane by birth right? I can't get my head around that at the moment. Granted, I do have a headache right now... so that could be it.

ETA: The safe was hilarious! I was expecting Keith to pick an obvious number or leave it somewhere because it's something Veronica would expect him to do. Then again he knows his daughter and she will think of everything. When it blew up in Veronica's face I couldn't stop laughing! Go Keith!!

I really like Leo. I think he's very charming and funny and a genuinely nice guy... I'd like to see him more. His "you fell for me?"

Man... why'd Mr Rooks have to be bad? I really wanted him to be innocent, I really did. But after the phone thing, I figured he wasn't innocent.

I hate to admit it but I do like this Troy/Veronica being nice to each other thing. And I liked that moment between Veronica and Weevil after Logan stormed out... I think Weevil actually felt for Logan. Man, but seeing the tape? Even I'll say poor Logan...

But the credit cards bring a glimmer of hope I suppose.

Oh, and was very shocked and excited to see Christian Clemeson's name in the guest starring section... I was like, "KOONTZ!" I do a very good Koontz impression, and having him around means serious drama and plot development, which is all good.

This was a good episode. But the last minute of the episode made it for me. Seeing Veronica scare Koontz after the way he made her cry last time... you go girl.

NEXT WEEK: Aly!!! "Veronica, hey!"

Veronica telling Keith to answer his own phone...

"There's also a jungle tribe that worships Donald Trump's hair."

Veronica getting ink shot all over her? I burst out laughing... out loud.

I like that even the teachers gossip about Veronica.

Veronica's admittal of being petite...

I love the way this show can always throw me for a loop! So many of the last few scenes had me going

I really wanted Mr Rooks to be innocent, but the whole twist of it's not true but it is was neat. Only thing I would change would be more of a faceoff between Veronica and Keith - it still felt like they were working together, just dancing around it a bit.

I want to agree that the killer can't be Duncan because it would be too obvious, but...

As for the Logan thing, at this point I have no idea what's going on. The credit card thing might seem a bit predicatable, but I think the way they put the video and the message back to back made it work - it was fast enough to keep you off balance even when you knew it was coming. Incidently, I thought Jason's acting was really top notch. (and I can't wait for Alyson next week!!)

And the whole thing with Koontz!!! I love how no matter how far away the episode seems to be moving from the "central" mystery, they always give us something new to shake it up...

I really liked this ep. I'm glad that they're showing more of Duncan, and his problem. I really hope he isn't the killer. That would just totally suck.

But in the ep. I didn't really see alot of Mars vs. Mars. It was more like Keith telling Veronca what he knew and Veronica not believing him. But maybe it's just me.

It scared the poop out of me too. I jumped. But it was funny. And it does show Keith knows Veronica really well.

Can't wait for the next ep!

Another top notch show. Ranks as one of the best of the year IMO.

I think Kristen Bell may suffer the I'm-on-UPN-Buffy-syndrome and be passed over for awards (Emmys, etc.) but she dominates every episode and makes us root for VeronicaMars (just how Abel says it *heh*) even when she's WRONG. I knew the teacher was a skeeve early on (just a guess)but Veronica totally made up for her bad judgement setting things right in the end. She's such a fixer-up-er. By the end of the season I wonder how many folk at Neptune High will still treat her like a pariah.

And you can tell the show is so well-written when it has our heroine turn out to be wrong and have the school jacka$$es like Logan and Whatsername from tonite not only turn out to be right but have complex personalities with actual good sides to them. At times tonight you could really see how Logan and Veronica could have once been friends and hung out all the time, they have a certain subtle comraderie beneath the surface? Who could have imagined that when we first saw Logan in the pilot episode that he'd turn out to be basically the second most popular character (with the most development) after Veronica herself?

I sooooo get you here.

There was something off about the teacher right from the start. Almost that whole "too good to be true" feel. But I wanted to support Veronica. She's so rarely wrong about anything, and her arguments were very well supported. I found it ironic that, in a way, she was wrong in both the cases she was investigating. The teacher was a sleaze, and now it would appear that Lynn is perhaps alive.

I love that the show can explore different faucets of its characters, and not make a single one of them perfect. Even our heroine. I love it even more that she can admit when she's wrong.

Jason Dohring, again, was amazing. I can only imagine what a trainwreck Logan must be right now. His mother supposedly committing suicide ... desperately clinging onto his dellusions that she's alive ... nearly ready to find acceptance ... and now, the credit card ... if she really is dead, the poor boy is going to be devistated. And Jason plays it so well.

I'm excited for next week. ALYSON!

Heeeeeeee.

This episode would have been *perfect* with a little appearance from Sheriff Lamb.Hee.

It was a great episode! Logan&Veronica with the help of Weevil....Perfect.

I'm becoming a huge LoVe shipper .Gah,when he told her he'd pay her and that she wouldn't do that out of friendship....my heart melt,LOL.And Logan's half smile when Veronica told him about the credit card use.... As much as I don't like Lisa Rinna(Lynn Echolls),I'll admit that I was very happy for Logan....and for LoVe since that means they'll keep on working together

Can't wait for next week!

I loved this episode. At first I thought Veronica was right about the teacher, but when the girl (Carrie? Can't remember her name for some reason) was talking about the sheets and the mood music I knew he really had done it. I just never would've figured that she was trying to protect her friend. The only thing I didn't get was didn't Veronica ask for the Knight number in Neptune? I thought the girl said she was run out of town in shame. Plus, people would've known about her pregnancy unless she NEVER left the house. But I guess I can't ask for complete realism...

I was never a real V/L shipper- until tonight! I still like her with Duncan, too. He was so sweet to her today. He actually came over and started a conversation. That is a real change from the beginning of the season! I can understand how he hid his epilepsy with medication, but if it were the medication that was making him a zombie (like in the first couple of episodes) wouldn't he have been like that before the murder? I don't think stage 4 epilepsy just all of a sudden occurs. Unless, they want us to think Duncan had epilepsy and killed Lily in an "episode", etc but in reality the doctor diagnosed Duncan with epilepsy after the murder because the medication would make him "forget" what he knows.

Now on to Logan. My heart totally went out to him when he saw that person falling off the bridge. I also hoped his mother was alive, for his sake. But, if his mother is still alive (as they are hinting with the credit card use) then who fell off the bridge? Also, don't credit card companies cancel/shut down accounts of the deceased? Additionally, anyone who has ever watched even a half an hour of television in their lives knows how people are tracked down by the credit card usage. I think Lynn is dead and someone had stolen her cards either before or after she jumped.

My jaw dropped with the rim job joke. I couldn't believe that she actually said that at first, and then I started to laugh. And the safe? It scared the heck out of me, but then I laughed so hard! That was the hardest I've laughed at this show. It just goes to show you how this show can make you laugh so hard and then make you feel so sad.

Can't wait until next week. I am loving the Veronica/Logan interaction! The only thing is that I was really hoping that Logan's sister would be a witch but instead she seems all sweet. I was really hoping to see another side of Alyson's acting instead of the same Willow persona. But, all I saw was 1 minute of a preview, so maybe she'll still turn into the selfish person I would've thought she would be with the Echoll's as her parents.
