I feel like as my LoVe love grows, I have more and more trouble seeing Duncan and Veronica as a couple. They seem very...boring? Or comfortable, I guess.

I thought the song title line was pretty obvious, but cute/borderline cheesy.

Interesting, in that Aaron and Logan have different recollections of the ending of the Zoo Party. There's not a definitive answer either way as to who's right which is also a plus. Nice touch that Logan couldn't hold his Dad's hand, he's not very good at the big stuff and didn't respond by being a son b/c he was still angry.

Aaron isn't a monster, he was genuinely grieving for his wife and even finally ended his career. Of course, he couldn't do that when his Wife was alive and it would have meant something, but people are like that.

Logan ... clinging to hope that just isn't there. And yes of course he came to Veronica. Just like the adults come to Keith. Both Mars may be despised, but they are still needed. Plus, they know all the secrets. I'll bet that whatever Logan finds out, he won't like it. Just like Bone didn't like finding out his son wasn't Urkel either.

UnsilentMajorty, a big WORD to your post. ITA.

Candygirl, I was probably paying too much attention to Logan at the time. Once I get my hands on that episode, I'll probably rewatch that scene. I tend to rewatch the episodes more than once, anyway.

2. I couldn't really tell because it was dark... I know Veronica mentioned it was different, but what was it? It was just flatter?

6. Well, Lilly's her best friend. Of course she's going to tell her that her boyfried kissed another girl!
I believe that Lynn is dead as well. With the (absolutely wonderful) speech that Logan gave about the lighter, I couldn't help but think he was projecting and thinking of what he wanted more than anything, and not so much about his mom. Although (morbidly speaking), in death Lynn would still be free...

And Wallace hair was... wow. I'll make a cap of it once I get my hands on the episode. It's a sight, though.

I know I had a reason for wondering why Veronica told Lilly, but I can't seem to remember it right now. Perhaps it was why she told Lilly so quickly, especially given how Lilly stood Logan up at the party, and that Veronica even lied about why Lilly was gone. Given with what we know about Veronica, though, I do believe that it was in character to tell Lilly about it so quickly without even considering Logan. After all... everything was about Lilly in those days, wasn't it?

It was an interesting juxtaposition to say the least. After that scene, I immediately remembered the ending to RotK and wondered exactly how Aaron views the punishments that he gives to Logan. Does he have a different recollection (perhaps justification) for those, too?

Oddly enough, I'd never noticed how good of an actor Jason Dohring is. Really. Me with my "Bow down to Kristen Bell!" I've never really taked the time to appreciate the supporting cast, barring Enrico Colantoni. I guess he just sort of slipped under my radar.

EDIT: Also thought Kristen's FB!Veronica wig looked good. Not too wiggy.

I think that Lynn left the lighter out for Logan to see so he could keep it as a momento. Also, in death she was able to free herself and now it's his turn to try and free himself (but by another way).

I too think the Lynn is dead and the "Free at Last" was meant for her death, not her hiding somewhere else. It would be impossible for her to hide after such a public life before. Although I am glad Logan is thinking she is alive so he can work with Veronica. I am not a shipper of those two, but I really don't like his current hatred for Veronica and would like to see that dissipate.

I TOTALLY called the Ben and Yolanda relationship. I knew it was supposed to be a Romeo and Juliette type of thing, but getting them married while in high school?? Wrong, wrong, wrong. What year are they in now? It doesn't matter if they are graduating, that is just wrong.

I can't believe that those parents didn't get madder at the brother either. He was playing with their biggest fear and they now... respect him? I don't buy it.

I loved the continuity with the flashbacks. We are slowly getting the whole picture and I love it!

P.S. I totally got the *winkwink* line about used to be friends into the credits, it was cute but I hope they don't do it again. That would be too much.

I think that's why I don't particularly care for them either. There's no conflict. Or at least, not one that we know of yet.

As far as Lynn being dead, I don't know ...

The fact that they never found the body, and that this was pointed out ... it should at the very least get us asking questions. Obviously, her body could have washed up on shore down the coast, or something. There could be other explanations too, of course ... but until there's a body, I think it's perfectly understandable for Logan to cling onto hope that she's still alive.

At the very least, if she is dead, I hope they recover the body. A dead body would provide some closure for the poor boy. And I have a feeling that's the only way he would get it.

I think that until a body is found, Logan will continue to let himself believe that his mother is alive out there somewhere.

I thought this episode was solid, not great but solid. I loved getting to see Keith and Veronica in 'action'. Very cute to see how protective to see how Keith gets and stuff. Plus that 'we used to be friends' thingy/intro was cute. My friend and I were like 'hehe .. 'we used to be friends'' .. okay maybe we're just lame!

Jason Dohring did a great job this week, well, he does a great job every week, but more so in this ep. The scenes he had with his father ... you want to just bear hug him after that first scene with his father. With that brief mention of his sister, I'm even more excited to see Alyson on and to see what kind of relationship Trina and Logan has.

One small question ... where's Weevil? I miss that guy ...

I think that the brief mention Logan makes about Trina indicates that they do not have the greatest relationship.

Yeah, I agree with this. It seems that the whole family is (was) wrapped up in the whole acting/celebrity world except for Logan. There was definite contempt in his voice.

Logan's probably a little resentful of Trina because of the fact that she's an up and comming actress. He hasn't exactly had the best experience with the movie profession with his father.

I have a feeling we'll be seeing her soon, however. They wouldn't have just dropped her name for no reason.
